This was posted about 6 months ago, but thought it was worth posting again.

Access thousands of newspapers and magazines from all over the world.

It looks like papers from News Corporation and Trinity Mirror are no longer available though.

Notable publications include:

The Independent

That's just a small selection of what's available.

Simply enter a 9 digit number into the Barcode/Library card No. box such as 987456321

I tried a dozen or so numbers - Invalid barcode/library card number. It also logs your ip address. Is this technically fraud?

hmmm maybe I was worried over nothing. I put in my actual local library card number and that worked to get access too. ???? lol :smiley:

thanks - never knew about this - saves me buying magazines now!

Looks great and never knew about this. I just tried a random 9 digit number and it worked... There's loads of stuff to read there. I don't get it tho, what's the catch?

Excellent it actually works :smiley:

Only issue I have with it, is that the app does not work on Amazon's Fire tablet :disappointed:

If you want to read free magazines on an iPad I'd recommend checking if your local library suppors Zinio magazines as it works really well on the iPad

Bummer, oh well, you can still access the site on an iPad so that'll do, thanks for the tip off! Wish there was a list of what local libraries offered Zinio!

unfortunately, this doesn't work for me. After entering my card number it only gives me "Invalid barcode/library card number" :neutral_face:
