06. A Road Inside
07. Field Of White
08. Sisters

Beautifully moving from start to finish, Paths From Home is a powerful yet delicate masterwork of cinematic proportion. But unlike most other post-rock outfits, INWARD OCEANS uses piano rather than guitars to facilitate rhythm, timbre and texture. Displaying a well-refined ability to elicit emotion with the seemingly simplest of notes and chord progressions, each track on this phenomenal debut tells a mesmerizing story that unfolds organically in your ears.
Justin Carter (bass, guitar)
Bobby Kuhl (piano, percussion)
Mike Workman (guitar)

Not to be taken personally, Boz...
But, Jeeez! I found these "compositions" to be indistinguishable from the unimaginative muzak stuff one hears on the very worst American sentimental movies. Again, Relaxing? Only if one is listening to these muzakians tracks whilst intentionally slipping away from life in a bath filled with warm syrup and sputtering night-light candles.
