Why would you use direct line on Quidco to get £40 when there are insurers giving £80+ on home insurance?

Because the Direct Line quote was more than £40 cheaper than the next cheapest quote and cashback is not guaranteed.

My direct line quote was only £100 the ones offering £80 wanted £330 bit of a difference

DONT BOTHER, I DID IT TWICE AND NEVER GOT ANY POINTS, MANY OTHERS HAVE POSTED THE SAME THE LAST TIME THIS WAS POSTED. YOU WILL BE PLAUGED BY PHONE CALLS TOO

I can't seem to find where it says 250 points. I does mention to have your clubcard number ready for a 'guaranteed discount' whatever that means... OP can you please be more specific?
