Once your tickets are confirmed they send you an email with a link to the ticket which you print off and take with you. You can also get to the ticket in your account on SFF site.

5 mins 'till Amy starts in Edinburgh and only 8 people in the cinema so far! What a waste

Thanks though Ive noticed that SFF is neglecting London these day :disappointed:

SFF don't choose the cinemas, it is whoever is behind the screenings, in this case the radio times and even they have probably been asked to target certain areas. London get loads of 'London only' screenings but the tickets are gone in a flash every time

They can be hit and miss. I've seen quite a few this year and they have usually been about 80-90% full. One showing was so busy latecomers had to sit on the stairs!

Thanks for posting. I keep checking this site for these tickets but none near me recently . Great opportunity for those who get them. The only time I got free tickets was to see Suffragette and the cinema was two thirds empty. I hope people use their free tickets or make the effort cancel them so others can benefit.

Not quite the same level but when we went to see Suffragette ourselves some 6 weeks ago it was only 50-60% full and felt just as annoyed, especially as I had to keep checking until late the night before for any cancellations and thus we felt fortunate to get to attend.

Thanks.....but kicking myself as I was in a rush yesterday when I first read this - and just clicked on the link.... to the one for Amy.....
None left near me.
I didn't read the whole posting (more fool me) so didn't realise about all the others.
One son was REALLY keen to see Macbeth - now all gone.....
But I have managed to get tickets for PALIO
I went to a preview screening of this a while back.......
I found it excellent - not the 'usual' film, but I really got into it.
The 'cinematography' is beautiful.......
'Exposes' a whole world.....which puts current Fifa and Athletics doping and Match fixing into perspective

Really hope you like it - a VERY different film.
Colin Farrell gets yanked away by " the men in white coats" as soon as his wife leaves him and he becomes a singleton.
Then the countdown starts for him to find a new partner.
Weird and slow moving - but full of one liners and dark humour.
Definitely a film we talked about on the way home - hence my wanting to see it again.
Shall be buying the dvd when it comes out - it's one of those films, like Withnail, that has memorable moments - though it is obviously not right up there with Withnail.
Thanks to op for telling us about these free films.

Yep, good post. heat added. Disgusting that many cities have loads of films and others have nothing. Another Manc here...not impressed with the distributor.
