What is Deezer?

You might have to top up though before you can get the offer.

If you walk into a Three store you can also get one, but it'll cost you £1 unless you also top up at the same time.

You can cancel on the deezer website anytime

TBH I doubt they will mess with people on that plan if you dont take this ****. I know some students who were putting 500GB+ through tethering a month, they have already been moved off the contract.

Didn't work for me either. It charged me £9.99 to subscribe until the 14th December, even though my current Deezer+ would have run until 3rd December. So it's cost me almost a tenner for 11 days of Deezer.

Excuse me for being a little thick (the t&cs aren't that clear) - but is the last day you can register for this on 12 May or is that just when the offer will expire (no matter when you registered).

If it's the last day you can register the window of opportunity is quite large for what seems a very generous offer.

Appreciate anybody's take on this.

I got stung £9.99 called three about it, they asked if I'd had a sub before and said yes ant they said that's the reason why. I asked if I could get my Money back, they said as a gesture of goodwill they would refund £5 so I only got burnt by£4.99, oh well, you live and learn.

I signed up and got my 6 months trial, contacted @DeezerHelp on Twitter and mentioned I had recently resubscribed this week and they have extended it to 7 months now. [img]

Well I did it but they charged me 9.99 and only subscribed me until a month from now.

Never used deezer before but I've tried two 'three' sim cards (one of which has balance and is used) and both say £9.99 p/m on the texts with no mention of the deal.

Yes both the text messages say its £9.99 per month - however you should also get a confirmation e-mail that confirms the first 6 months are not charged for: Heres the e-mail I got:

If you log onto the deezer website and click the cog next to "My Music" on the left panel, then Settings, then "My subscription" you can confirm that you are subscribed for 6 months, and can cancel future payments there

I haven't went through the full process but I think it works.

I wasn't sure if I was going through the process correctly with my current 'three' payg sim (with credit in it) as the text was saying £9.99 p/m. I tried it with an unused spare 'three' sim and it took me through the same process as before, saying £9.99p/m again.

It turns out it's supposed to say £9.99 p/m in the first text. After you input the code you get in that text it should be fine.

Again, not 100%, but it accepted my spare sim's number and gave me an activation code. I just didn't use that code.

I signed up with an old T-Mobile sim I no longer use.I tried to cancel but T-Mobile (EE) now can't recognize the number.Do I just leave it now as it was a PAYG sim ,so I can't see how they can take money if there is none on the sim.

I signed up this morning being a right idiot due to lack of sleep hit the button whilst still logged into my existing account. It's added the 6 months to my existing account and i've immediately cancelled and it shows my subscription will expire 4th July. However is that no going to charge me £9.99 a month for the next 6 months to my 3 sim (which is payg and no credit so how does that work?)?

Existing customers could always try the Gmail trick, use a gmail email ending in lets say @gmail.com on Deezer and when you're signing up for this through the link use @googlemail.com

Worth a shot. (I'd try it but I'm not on Deezer)

Try this:
1. Go to deezer.com on a web browser
2. search for the artist you want
3. select 'Most played tracks'
4. keep scrolling down to show more tracks
5. Select all tracks by clicking in box at top of list
6. click + to add selected tracks to playlist

You need a Deezer account, there's nothing to download as such? Except maybe the app for iOS/Android.

The 3 sim will determine whether or not you'll get the offer - give it a go :wink:

Go into your account, it's in there. Under subscription, I don't think you can go wrong really? I always worry that you're going to cancel and lose all service but I don't think that's even possible.

Once you have setup your Deezer account visit http://www.deezer.com/account/subscription where you may cancel the sub - don't worry you will still keep the six months you already have.

Here's what my sub page says after cancellation:

"Your Deezer Premium+ subscription is valid from 04-01-2016 until 04-07-2016 at 08:23.

Automatic renewal of your Deezer subscription has been cancelled."

They won't disappear, but you will not be able to play them. So if you renewed your subscription, you could access them, and not have to download them again.

On certain plans you can elect a monthly add on and deezer premium is one of them. I've had it with them for 3 years now though my plan is one of the old international legacy plans with unlimited minutes and texts all around the world that they don't do anymore!

All you have to do is be able to receive a text. I didn't swap any sims, I just put a Three sim in an old phone. The Deezer account isn't physically linked to a sim or a phone etc.
