Leftfield today announce that they will be taking their “monumental” (The Times) live show on the road for their first full UK tour in years.
Leftfield release their throbbing, acerbic new single Head and Shoulders on 28 August. The song features vocals by Jason Williamson of Sleaford Mods and is the third single to be lifted from the recently released, critically acclaimed top 10 album Alternative Light Source.
Leftfield, now led solely by Neil Barnes, are one of electronic music's all time greatest acts, and Alternative Light Source is the follow up to Leftism (1995) and Rhythm and Stealth (1999), both of which were nominated for the Mercury Prize. Alongside Sleaford Mods, the record contains collaborations with Ofei, Tunde Adebimpe (TV On The Radio) and Channy Leaneagh of Poliça.

I've not heard of them before I'm afraid, so just passing on the deal. Hope someone who knows a little more about the band than me can appreciate them

Thanks so much for the heads up on this OP...was totally unaware until this morning...clicked on link and there was tix available for B'ham tonight, must have been someone's cancellation returns back into the wild.
Love Leftfield, and never seen them live.
Keep checking folks for any cancelled returns during the course of the day. For those too young to not have any clue who Leftfield are, the electronica pioneers were responsible for Phat Planet, the tune famously featured in the old Guinness adverts

And another set of 2 returned, got two on my account for my wife and I who are going but couldn't find any friends or work colleagues that want/could go.
Hope the place isn't half empty tonight!
