After completing level 12 of the Android game Love Rocks Shakira (took me about 20 minutes of playing this "match 3" style game), you'll get a popup in the game to get the album for free.

Just spent half an hour getting up to level 13 of a truly rubbish game, to get an album I didn't particularly want, & will probably never listen to. :confused: Heat added btw :smile:

Cracking deal. It.. and she is HOT. Played game for 15 minutes. Earned album and deleted game. Not that the game is bad, I just don't generally play them.
I think it is a great way to promote music and the game. Fair play to them.

Got the album after level 12. So heat from me.
As for the game, well it's just so bloody generic! I can't really say it is bad (it isn't IMO) but it's so similar to the countless other match three type games and so easy it really feels like you can't lose, good if you are terrible at these games I suppose but far too easy for most people. But for me the worst is that it just doesn't make any worthwhile use of the Shakira license (apart from the album tie in). Namely Shakira is a great singer (subjective but IMO) but the music in this game is dreadful, the same dull plinky plonk every single level, did it not occur to them to actually use some of Shakira's music/singing in the game? It isn't exactly rocket science. The other thing, Shakira is great looking (again IMO) yet in the game they use a stupid cartoon avatar that really doesn't look anything like Shakira, how about some actual pictures?
Seems like every opportunity to make this game stand out from the crowd they missed, Shakira deserves a better game. That said for a free album or as a my first match 3 game for a kid, it's perfectly serviceable but also just so bloody generic.....

I have to agree with most people here. Not the best game but worth the freebie. It is weird that people who don't like her did this at all.
Any workaround for not adding my credit card details? I don't fancy adding for no reason.

The Play store listing says that the offer should be on until 28th October. I've already claimed it so can't check, I'm afraid. I got a link in the app that took me to a web page after completing level 12.
Have you checked to see if the link is anywhere else in the app in case you missed it? Or has the album been bought?

Maybe you just missed the prompt screen. Click on the gear icon on the main road screen and you should see a google play store icon with 'codes' written there. Click that to see the prompt screen again that will take you to the play store.

The game is dire - far too easy, especially with no time limit/real time action at all. Got my free album at level 12 - you'll need some payment card details or credit in your Play account (e.g. gift card credit, Google Rewards credit).
Just listening to the She Wolf album now - I like good pop albums, but this definitely isn't one of them. Annoying backing tracks, stupid vocoder tricks and utterly forgettable melodies - this is as bad as the game was! No wonder both were free...

The offer seems to have gone. After level 12 nothing happens. The gear button displays Christmas ads now :disappointed:
