Funny you should say that, as I found these much nicer to use than my old steel shafted hammer with a 8Oz head but nowhere near as nice as my fibreglass one with an extra large strike face (left it on a job, must order another).

I've stopped buying products in Pound shops unless they are branded goods.Frankly much of Pound-crapola-land stuff ends up in landfill sites within 6months.

Haha, too true. I'm having one of my sideways thinking days and was hoisted by my own 'smartaleckness'!

Got 2 last week, seem good enough. Only used briefly to re-felt a shed but no issues, was amused that they came wrapped in bubble wrap in case they got knocked during transit!
