I never thought it was 3.99. I am laughing at the postage. I hate Amazon Prime. One of the biggest cons.
It’s £7.99 on Amazon and Carphone where is £3.99 deal I can’t see it

Ah, thanks. That's what I was missing, the 'dual' bit. Didn't realise it was Micro USB as well.
Looks decent then, voted hot OP.

Not the Note 8 as it's USB C now. Not sure about S8.

S8 also uses USB-C, I would have to say that most major new phones that are released in 2017 are USB-C but budget end android devices will still use micro USB

Avoid! The toggle to retract the USB connector is extremely weak and you spend several attempts trying to hold the toggle forward so that the USB connector doesn't retract as you push it in. If you have other cables in corresponding USB slots, you'll find yourself having to unplug them so you can hold the toggle down.

Great USB stick, I have 2 and they come in very handy when plugged straight into my Android devices

Badly written post causing much confusion! A simple '+' would solve the pricing description and 'USB / micro USB' the rest of it.

It's doesn't fit the new Samsung s8/+ not sure about the new note, but you can use the USB converter that comes with those phones to fit this one.

I've got one of these for MP3 file on my car stereo. Its handy to be able to upload new files from my phone when I'm out and about. Its also useful if I'm abroad, when I've got mobile data on my phone, but not for tethering my laptop.

I have the 128gb version, which I got pretty cheap when Amazon did a lightening deal on it. VERY handy and never had an issue with it. Full size usb on one end and micro usb on the other....like it a lot....I think they do a type c version too....but I could be wrong.

Don't waste your money on a dual. They re so slow. I have this and the usb type A ultra. The dual hardly achieves usb 2 speeds. You are better off buying the one that isn't dual purpose and an other adapter lead.
Not bad if true speeds of 150MBs/40MBs read/write. I was looking for similar the other day, read speed @USB3 but write at usb2 levels.

No reason to doubt it and for this price it's almost always the write speed that suffers. Still, 40MB/s is beyond what just about any USB 2.0 drive would manage. I prefer to pay more for a drive that writes at ~150MB/s as if you shop around the premium isn't much and when you really need to write a lot of data in a hurry it saves a lot of time. Picked up an Ultra 128 for £30 which writes at 150MB/s. Overkill for many though especially on the smaller drives.

Even if you don't want the micro-USB connector, it is still a good value drive. The 128GB at 31.99 is a good buy too. I have a couple of these and performance is very good.
