As mentioned this is the essential sim not the advanced. Advanced would be approx 40 a month check uSwitch website for all the best deals

Not bad. 4 months ago managed to get my S8 on Vodafone for £29/month/16gb + £110 upfront with £25 quidco. £781 all in and it's been really good with tethering as well.

Isn't there a way of getting round the tethering block on these essential plans...an app or something?

Close to pushing the button on this. Only thing putting me off is the potential for a better deal around Black Friday and the lack of this being the advanced plan.

What do you mean by tethering, sorry for my ignorance I am on pay as you go

Tethering is where you allow another device access to the internet via your phone (using it as a wifi hotspot)... a laptop for example.

My wife recently got this deal. It is a great deal but when you sign up it doesn't tell you that you don't get the go binge and fell at home international. The first you know is a week later when you get a letter from 3 telling you. Also no tethering which is annoying. You should be able to use your allowance as you choose.

I am sorry, it clearly states it's on the "essential" plan NOT the "advanced" which includes feel at home & binge.

I'm sorry but it doesn't. Or didn't last week. Maybe they changed the listing due to complaints. It even had a write up under the offer saying how you could benefit from go binge and feel at home only to receive the phone and not have the benefits.

This sounds... really cheap for an S8, is Mobilephones Direct a well known site?

Is this the version without tethering/feel at home? This is tempting but those things are the main reason I want to stay with three!

The two can be combined. This is auto redemption not a cash back sire.

I know  so IF TCB tracks, it makes the cost around £1.30 cheaper a month
It's a great deal IMO if you want an S8, what I'm paying atm it makes the phone around £20 a month

Surely TCB would be a better shout? £31.50 cashback (I think it can be used)
