An excellent game with the finest AI ever seen in a video game. The AI used in the interrogations was truly revolutionary. Many found it too hard which is probably why it's never been used again. For its time the game was radical. It's interrogation AI is still better than anything around today.

I'll maybe pick this up if they include the vr case files that they have made for pc. Until then... Nah

Went mad for this at launch and got my pre-order bonuses....... and found out it was a hidden object game, never played it.
Thanks for face tech that's in the proper games now though.

MotionScan hasn't been used for any other game as far as I'm aware. It's not the most convenient tech to work with and is a lot more limited than standard facial capture for a number of reasons.
Also, hidden object game? That's really how you think of it?

Loved this game on PS3- face capturing set the benchmark for games which has sadly never really been seen since, and the premise of the game was incredibly niche.
Still own my PS3 copy, but I've never been one for gaming nostalgia for fear that older hardware would change my perception compared to the graphics on a current-gen console. Have waited for this to come down from the £30+ price point on Amazon, so hot from me!

Film star murdered. Get in car. Find clues. Drive back to station. Question suspect with terrible face expressions. Get frustrated. Solve murder.
Repeat.

Don't knock it. I've gotten away with several murders in real life. When the police come a knockin', all I do is grin like a Cheshire Cat and make sure I don't fidget. They're none the wiser. All thanks to this game. Bravo Rockstar.

Actually really liked this one, on the PC. Played it at Uni. Wasn't there some talk a few years back of a sequel of sorts?
Heat OP, for the nostalgia

Sorry but any re-release/remake should be sub £20, this is a fantastic game but not worth it for those who have already played it

This game is superb played through it on the PS3 and PC. Great voice acting and one of the guys from Mad Men is in it. For those who have an X on the way it is 4k and has some bonus content as well. That took me 3 seconds to google btw lol

It was a good game when it came out but I don’t think I could stand playing it again.

Have they done much work to this to justify such a high price for an old game?

Yes I am wondering the same....I was planning to get it for the PS3 from CEX, but if it’s worth I might get it for the PS4.

The improved graphics might make it easier to tell when people are lying... I was woefully bad at guessing on the PS3 but that might just be my lack of psychology knowledge :stuck_out_tongue:

I think this was one game were I felt the repetitiveness. From what I remember, you had to look for the same type of clues at every murder scene
