Firewatch and Grim Dawn have been added to OnePlay (the games rental service). They rent 2,000+ PC games in a variety of genres and themes, you can download as many as you want to try (not all their games can be rented). I write this having enjoyed Firewatch over a couple of nights (it's a 4 hour game).
OnePlay have a 76p ($1) discounted 3 month subscription, then a $29.99 3-monthly subscription, so it's fun to try for a period, but I would suggest cancelling at the end of the period (their terms suggest discounted offers will only apply once per household) - set a reminder. Year-long subscription discounts have been available (e.g. Nov 2016), but at the moment the three-month subscription is the most discounted. You may want to pick short but sweet games to ensure you complete them before your subscription runs out (try how long to beat).
The available games are single player or local multiplayer games (no online multiplayer). It can be tough to find the good amongst the bad (those that can be rented include a green "Install Client" link), but for more games see the list in a post below, or my deal listing all the then highlights, ordered by Steam rating. PC, rather than Android, is their main focus. Some have found the service difficult to sign up to in the past.

I've added Victor Vran to the list above.

Hmm, this morning they removed Grim Dawn and Victor Vran from the OnePlay site and app.

A fuller list of games from the April thread (excluding those in the original post), ordered by Metacritic:
Possibly stupid question, but has anyone found out how to cancel the subscription? I've looked everywhere, and the faq on how to cancel is so outdated it doesn't apply to the site anymore....any help?

I don't see any of those half decent games you have listed in the OP. the games on their website which they are showcasing seem to be ones which are mostly pretty low tier/quality (and have been bundled before) . a LOT of crappy android games for some bizarre reason. Certainly not worth $10 a month. much better off subscribing to Humble Monthly where you get 7 decent games and you can keep them. pretty good idea having a subscription service, but without many more decent games (ones not been bundled too) it doesnt seem to be worthwhile.

I've added direct links to the games I've listed to make them easy to find (and the full list). I agree, it's probably not worth $10 per month, but it's fun to try a subscription for the games you want.
I have actually tried this, Firewatch runs smooth but Grim Dawn is unplayable for some reason. I have a Geforce 1060 so it is not my setup.

Never heard of this service but considering you can complete Firewatch in a couple of hours it's definitely worth it , great little game , loved the voice acting and change of pace from my usual blow up everything I see

I would agree, I was left wanting a bit more from the ending but it definitely wasn't crap

If this is legit then that's a great price for grim dawn.

Bear in mind you'll only have access as long as your subscription is active l, you don't get it to keep for that price (much like PS+). Probably not a problem for a lot of people given you have 3 months to play it but might be a factor for some; especially with a game like Grim Dawn which can be a real time sink.

pretty good idea having a subscription service, but without many more decent games (ones not been bundled too) it doesnt seem to be worthwhile.
