If you wall mount the tv , can the soundbar be detached from the stand and wall mounted as well?

or maybe Panasonic make them on behalf of Vestel. I know years ago with the old Tube TV's Panasonic UK made them for other manufacturers to the manufacturers spec. This usually involved inferior components.

How exactly can it *look* like a Vestel rebadge? It’s a brilliant TV, and the build quality of the top-end Panasonic blows the socks off LG and Samsung

I stopped listening to opinions many many years ago - the ONLY opinion that matters is yours!
I bought a Samsung from JL last year ..... I went in, looked at all the TV's ... stood for a while in front of each and selected one which I thought the best, I then went away and returned 6 times to validate my first opinion.
I'm a yorkshireman so I waited until it went out of stock on line and then went into store and bought it off the floor - 55 inch smart and amazing picture, I haggled them down to around £300!! AND I got a display SONY Soundbar for an extra £100.
The thing I'm trying to get across is that YOUR eyes are better than any review or opinion on here .... then use your brain to get the very best deal ......

Although you are right on personal opinion that is not to say that they are are all set up in store exactly the same and that the set you picked was just perhaps was set up for your liking, maybe.

I have this TV, bought it last year for £1200. Great set and the 4k looks amazing. The stand is a bit gimpy so I’ve mounted the TV instead. I’ve also ditched the included sound bar-esque speaker in favour of a proper surround sound system.

my thoughts; 1. The TV is geared towards Terrestrial FreeView and not FreeSat, very hard to find on demand apps (bbq player etc) from the freest guide. 2. The remote has specific button for Netflix, not sure why, but if you're not a netflix sub then may find annoying. 3. Good viewing angles, I returned my samsung TV because of poor blacks and white glows based on position of TV on the wall and my seating. This TV is good for this both horizontal and vertical.

Hot just for having 3d. It's superb on a 4k set.
Watch the Martian and Jurassic park (original) in 3d. Amazing, and a million times better than any 1080 set could manage.

I have this. Bought it as a refurbfrom Panasonic’s ebay store for £800 (deal on here with lots of info and links) - probably a return because of the stand but looked brand new. Swapped the stand, as you will need a six foot tv stand/table to fit it on. Sound is great from the sound bar. 3D works great, although you need active 3D glasses (but cheap enough on ebay or Amazon). Has freesat and freeplay, can record to usb but has no series link. SD Recordings can be shared and streamed to other devices on your network, although HD can’t for some reason. Picture is superb, the only issue I have with it is occasionally blocky blacks with poor quality source material, although this can usually be reduced/fixed by changing the picture settings.

I'm a big Panasonic fan and would bite at that price, is it VESA compatible?
I used to be big Panasonic (matsushita) fan even buying the doomed 3do, but since they allowed vestel to produce tvs under their name I'm out. Think it's a devious move and if I buy Panasonic I want Panasonic, and if they do this to make they probably put a lot of cheap components in their own products. Try and stick to sony now.

Only the bottom of the range Panasonic's were Vestels, makes sense to produce cheaply to sell cheaply.
The £5500 Panasonic TX65EZ1002B OLED isn't going to be made by Vestel is it?

Both 802 and 902 are discontinued by fisher sound, I really think it’s a good price and the fact that JL have them in stock so you don’t have to buy the open box from richersounds for the same price, makes this a good deal. :raised_hand:
