Decent price, but 1 quid more buys Russian Standard, 2 quid more Green Mark, my favourite. Both have a better taste and both are genuine Russian vodka's.

Green Mark is lush IMO but get greedy with it so no good to me

Going to pick up some Smirnoff Blue at the airport on my way from Copenhagen next time. Any Swedish vodkas out there worth trying, as aiming to get to Stockholm too?

Alcohol is utterly unaffordable in Sweden. Anyone that can makes their stuff at home. Heard good stories about Finlandia, but that's obviously from the country next door. Absolut is Swedish.

History my dear. Nieuw Amsterdam (or New Amsterdam in English) was the first name of New York (as the English changed it)

Russian standard normally on offer from £22 at highest goes to £15 , its £16 in sainsburys at moment and it alot nicer. No bad hangover! 40% so be careful on measures
