Google Drive filters and snap to crop nowhere near as good as others.

What filters do you need when scanning a document?
Google Drive does crop too, so again what different type of cropping is required when scanning a document?

Page size detection that results in accurate auto-sensed cropping. Filters that automatically take out smudges, marks etc. Both superior with Cam Scanner over Drive. I can't comment on this app's offering since I haven't used it.

Sorry but I must have missed something...what part of the deal is not as described? A cold vote warrants a bad deal. If the deal is not available and missed because me and you logged on too late then expire it. Simples. I voted hot.

I'm not sure if it's expired as I installed it yesterday but thanks OP for your efforts, personally I'm not so bothered if an OP doesn't get to expire a post instantly it's not as bad as when someone knows they've put a dual post up and doesn't delete straight away or its left up by the Mods, anyway thanks for your post and have some heat from me.

scan and save a few pages. Go to where the all the scanned pages are and you should have a row of symbols at the bottom of the screen. The far right one is a magnifying glass with an A in the middle. Thats ocr

Why does that warrant a cold vote? Because you missed the deal? Just needs a simple expiry. I must have missed the deal also but the person put effort in posting it for others. Wish I could give more heat to cancel out your ignorance.

It means the people behind this app are hoping you will be scanning top secret sensitive papers, Wikileaks, nuclear drawings etc and NOT crappy drawings your little ones made in primary school.

Scannable is part of Evernote, and is very similar, but good to have options.

Evernote
Since the App uses mobile camera, I assume the quality of scanned documents may not be same for everyone.
Unfortunately neither this, Camscanner or Office Lens allow saving in organised folders on the phone's file system.
I've used Microsoft Office Lens for years and it is outstanding. Doesn't have Ocr though.
