Might not have legs, the roster's lacking and the online's pretty dead, but the core gameplay is solid. That's the current MvCI in a nutshell.

The low initial price tends to mean loads of costly dlc follows to make it ‘complete’

Capcom fighting cames are DLC ridden games combined with MvC:I selling poorly, not having a good roster of characters, taking away stable characters from MvC because Disney are petty and so on doesn't spill well for this series at all

aye, was thinking the same.. i had been tempted to pick this up initially but reading some iffy things so might hold off a bit longer tbh

Because it flopped. Also as per usual you get a bare minimum core game for this price then shell out loads after for costumes and characters amongst other things. I think people have finally cottoned onto this practice and started asking for more. Hopefully.
