Spotted that M&S have these extremely chocolatey biscuits on offer for £3 instore, good to stock up for Christmas gifts etc. Only problem with stocking up at this time of year is that sometimes they mysteriously disappear :astonished:

I like this variety as well, definitely wasn't £3 in my store - just the Extremely Chocolatey variety (as I'd have bought the Milk/Plain/White too if it was on offer).

"good to stock up for Christmas gifts etc"
With M&S food you need to be careful with sell by / use by dates.
I would doubt these have a date that is good for Xmas gifts etc.

If M&S are selling biscuits that haven’t got post-Xmas expiry dates they must be old stock. Biscuits are generally manufactured with reasonable shelf life, so really shouldn’t be an issue., but check those at the back of the shelf just in case. Btw Aldi also have the chocolate coated versions of these which are manufactured by the same company as those in M&S, and are always £3.:{

Im no food snob... im an Aldi shopper who make a very similar box of biccies to this M+S box, but to honestly come out with a rebranded 'Fox's' comment is utter ludicrous! these (and the Aldi ones) are simply stunning... theyve even taken over my love for McVities Victoria selection for me. Fox's dont even come close in comparison to quality! lol

You're probably thinking of the wrong Fox biscuits. These, and several others, are simply rebranded Foxes, made by Fox. Nothing wrong with that at all if they're cheaper.

dammit, just walked past a bloke at the entrance holding them up, but no sign, and not saying anything.
Cant be bothered going back.

was it reminiscent of one of those chauffeur's at the airport who meet and greet passengers...... maybe he was waiting for the cookie monster?

In M&S Gyle last night and noticed all the boxed/tinned biscuits are half price. Also noticed that the ones I looked at were relatively short dated so probably last years stock! Still,bought a tin to take to a Macmillan type coffee morning next week

If we buy biscuits or selection boxes for Christmas they ALL get eaten before Christmas and we have to buy them again :stuck_out_tongue:

Worth getting these over Aldi as you get 50g more and better selection of biscuits (some exclusive to M and S).

Got mine! Woop woop! I gave myself a pat on the back as I got last one off the shelves in the biscuit aisle, then realised they were scattered randomly in the store on display, anyway.... :stuck_out_tongue:
