Back down again, it's a 720p model, which I know not everyone wants, but overall for something like this it seems good, especially for folks on a budget.

Neo, would the tv be any good for gaming ie playstation or xbox. My son is looking for a decent tv for gaming.

No you'd be better off looking for a full HD (1080p) tv as this is already quite a few years behind in technology

Thankfully games consoles are already quite a few years behind in technology. Haha.

Yuck! I wouldn't get a laptop screen with this resolution so would not get a tv to use for gaming. Your son will be very disappointed with this.
Has to be 1080 for HD viewing as well as gaming.
The Kenwood Chef is legendary - should last a lifetime if the quality now is the same it was 30 years ago. I paid £129 30 years ago - its gone up over 100% since then (so good value, even with brxsht).

Another point - how can this be described as HD ready when it is not even capable of displaying at HD resolution. Another site I have looked at says it is NOT HD ready
For £199 I'd hunt around for offers/clearances 1080p full hd 32"

720p is absolutely fine in certain situations, it all depends how close you are sitting to the telly.
For example, if your sitting closer than 1.9m then 1080p is worth it on a 32" screen but if your sitting any further away your eyes can't even distinguish between 720p and 1080p.

Odd combination, I guess you can watch TV whilst making a cake
