Quite a few discounts knocking around at the moment across the various different supermarkets (most are first time shops but a few for existing). Thought it was worth pulling into one thread. Info is correct at time of posting, may help you out if doing a grocery shop.
Iceland
£5 off £40 (first time online orders) using code ICELANDFIVE - not sure of expiry date
Amazon Pantry (Need Prime)
New offer that went live giving £5 off £20 selected products - discount applied at checkout (reviewing the products the Flash cleaning products look good value with the discount)
Seem to have stopped running the monthly £5 off £40 in the Metro/newspapers however there are a couple of targeted offers for HSBC/First Direct via Visa offers portal giving £10 off £40 spend. Thread for reference hotukdeals.com/dea…953
Good thing about Ocado discounted vouchers is because they include alcohol and other non food products
Discounted 1st time shop via Groupon - £29 voucher for £40 - £60 voucher for £44 - £80 voucher for £59 (no Groupon codes are working at the moment to give further discount). groupon.co.uk/dea…ass
Alternatively there are a number of first time shop codes: VOU9295640 gives 30% off first time shop (max discount is £25 - expires 9th October) or VOU1245471 gives £30 off £100
In addition to the above you can get a further £5 off by going into my Ocado - Account settings - Marketing Communications - and opt out. Once you have done this go back to the Ocado homepage you get a message on the right hand side giving you a £5 voucher if you opt in which stacks. Make sure you are on desktop
Code SCSSEOOCT gives £18 off £60 first time online shop (ends 18th Oct)
Plus combine with a number of freebies which you can see on this page e.g. free tea sainsburys.co.uk/sho…ons
Sainsbury's have recently sent out a booklet to existing customers giving various weekly money off spend e.g. £4 off £20 online or instore and incentivising Nectar bonus points
Tesco
Tesco stopped doing new customer discount codes a while ago however occasionally offer freebies with shop (none currently that I am aware of)
Have recently sent out various discount codes online/instore to customers via post e.g. I have been given £6 off £40 and £4 off £40 which can be used online/instore
Can this be a regular post, like the phone contracts one  Very handy

Staff in Iceland are monitored on levels of bonus card swipes and bonus card savings. They'll be happy to serve you if you've got a bonus card.

I shop a lot in Iceland and they give a free £1 for every £20 saved on your Bonus card. I pay for my shop with my Bonus Card and use the card like a pre loaded debit card. I top up the card in a new transaction with whatever I've spent in store so my balance always has enough to pay for the next shop. It's not much but those £1's mount up plus you also get into a monthly store draw for £50 (which I've won once). It sounds like a lot of hassle but it only takes a minute and the staff all know me and are ready for the transaction
Also, if you've another family member, get them signed up for a Bonus Card and use it once or twice per month (do the same on the card like above). Twice a year Iceland give you a spending bonus which is dependent on how much your average shop spend. Iceland craftily make the amount a push on your average spend so if you spend £10 each time they'll make your bonus require a £25 spend. If you use the other card occasionally then they'll give you a smaller bonus but this is usually much easier to achieve.

I tried the Ocado trick of opting out of marketing communications but didn't get a link on homepage for £5 off if I sign up again.Any ideas what I might have done wrong?

I contacted customer service via email and they sent me a £5 voucher code.....problem is you can't apply both vouchers in the promo code box. Once my order arrived I contacted them again this time via online chat and told them that I wasn't able to use the £5 code they sent to my email address. They kindly refunded me with £5 to my payment method....just make sure that you have paid at least the refund amount after any discounts have been applied.
