Fails to upload message, anyone else manage it?

I've been trying since 5pm, it's really not working. I was stuck on a processing status for ages before giving up.

I was given the code from friend. On the xbox one i was stuck on the user agreement section. In the end I needed to do a hard reset on the xbox which worked. Hope this helps someone else.

Same issue as Buzz, stuck on processing status continually..

After submitting how long till you get the code?

it worked for me. I couldn't get it to go through on my mobile. Did it on my PC, opened up another window and done it on both of them and one wnet through

Worked for me, did it on mobile, some steps took a few seconds to load and seemed like it had crashed with no loading bars etc. but just waited without touching anything and eventually every screen loaded

Watched a load of streamers play this yesterday. It looks like exactly the same game as the first (which I fell in to the trap of).

Visual feast (on PC), big sounds, iconic characters somehow crafted in a way that lacks any substance.

Game need to look at PUBG and stop rehashing the same stale ingredients to make something people want to play over and over. Do basic things really well, keep the community together and layer on some new content occasionally.

This game will be dead in 6 months MP wise, why? Because they already have a million different modes, probably a load of content they'll throw in DLC wise to split the community in half again, and they'll continue to spin it until it does.

I'd personally only go near it if there was a solid 15 hour campaign to play that's stellar.

It sent me to a contact page and I just sent them an email saying I haven't got it. I'll see what they say.

Eventually downloaded - freezes a bit going back to main menu like the first one did. Seems a good game though but as always I’m utter :poop: pew pew die - I’m really good at respawning though!

Well I enjoyed playing the Battlefront 2 beta last night. I've only played Galactic Assault and Starfighter Assault modes so far but they kept us entertained. The base classes provide some needed variety and earning your powerups work well. Getting to the point where you can select a hero feels rewarding but some of the other player options like the super battle droids or mini walkers are good fun too. It's a big decision when you respawn to spend or not to spend! Everyone is not using jetpacks all over the place, which is a good thing! Starfighters Assault feels much better than the first game too, feel I can be more effective but that might just be because there were enough players who didn't really know what to do. The tie bombers take a lot of damage which kept me in for much longer than a life would have lasted in Battlefront 1 fighter mode. With split screen local coop option and a (hopefully decent) campaign I think Battlefront 2 offers enough fun to keep my preorder. "It's what the first game should have been."

*the downsides so far are slightly mushy looking visuals on Xbox (we were not blown away by the graphic fidelity) and multiplayer party system is iffy/broken...something which is often a problem in beta versions for some bizarre reason.

Pretty sure all the DLC for this game is gonna be free to keep the community together, a decision all games should do now to stop fragmenting the player base. Worked well for Halo 5 in keeping the online community going.

Played it for a few hours last night.

Looks to be building on good formula with more complex achievements (classes and star cards are more in depth and customisable) and there is going to be more maps, modes, heroes, and a single player campaign - addressing most of the concerns if the first one.

The only problem last night was that party invites were not working. The only way I could partner up with a friend was by pressing Y and joining game after they had joined one. This occasionally allowed us to play a game or two, but mostly we would be separated. There is an issue where when in game xbox stills reports the player as at 'home', which must be contributing to the error.

Anyway, that'll all be fixed come November anyway.

Do you have to have pre ordered the game first ?

That's a great move if so.

The pay 2 win aspect is something I'm not overly clear on though. Buying crates to get the best cards sounds ropey, hopefully there's a mechanic preventing that.

I'm still waiting for a proper open world game in SW theme. Again, unashamedly using PUBG as an example, a SW themed battle royale would be awesome - in my head at least.

Played this a bit last night (pre order beta) and it's pretty good. Similar gameplay, styling, menu set up to the original. Just vastly more content . Hopefully one day we will see 100 player battles where you fight on land, jump in a ship and fly into a space station to continue the fight. In one smooth unedited multiplayer mode. Hopefully next generation will be able to do this. As long as EA keep building on this battlefront series, I think sales will be very successful.

It must be automated, I went for lost code as an option and got both the initial ack email with the case ref and the beta code in the same minute.

Thanks OP. Just worked. I had change my mobile browser to desktop for it to work.

So the contact EA page has a continuous spinning 'processing' symbol but I did get sent a code pretty much as soon as I submitted my email. Shame it took me two hours to realise there is a problem with the EA webpage letting you know your email has gone through. Keep checking your emails instead of refreshing the contact EA page and you should see a code.

Cant get it to work myself (spinning wheel) but it seems to be working for most so heat added.

Edit: Got it to work and got the code straight away, make sure you dont leave the part that asks you for an error code on the initial page blank.

Like everyone else ti took me a few ties, and a few browsers but I got my code instantly upon the e-mail submitting successfully. Heat added :grin: I has success with Internet Explorer, if that makes any difference to anyone.

So I was spamming out emails for about 10 mins and getting the endless spinning circle, and I changed the region from US to UK, and then the next one worked. Almost certainly a coincidence, but worth a try?

I just did it again to get a ps4 code and it did the circle again, but I changed region and it worked first time. Click the get link at the top of this page, immediately change to UK, then just put any bs in the form and click email
