Its just my assumption. Every year on the 28th of Febuary (or whatever the last day of Febuary maybe), the Raspberry Pi Foundation releases a new Raspberry Pi. (It might as well be that the Pi 4 won't come next year! Link to Article!) :raised_hand:

I'm pretty sure I read a comment from the founder Eben Upton and it wasn't something on the near horizon. Will try and find the interview

Surely they are British, because they are made in the UK? How are they then shipping from China? Are they likely to copies? It seems a bit counter-intuative to me, ro ship them to China, and then be able to sell them for less!

As far as I'm aware, the pi is manufactured both in the UK and also in China.

Hard to justify going from a 2 to a 3 because the lack of RAM increase. Hopefully a future model will have 2GB.

Anyone know if there would be much of an improvement upgrading from a Model 2 for running OpenVPN and Pi-Hole?

How do you get PiHole to work with HUKD?

I’m actually not using it at the moment, but isn’t there a whitelist in Pi-Hole? I was able to whitelist the site in uBlock Origin

HUKD is file, it's the affiliate/Get Deal links that get blocked for me.
The only posts I've found are people saying they uninstalled PiHole in the end

Once you have added the shipping insurance to get a tracking number, which you should add, it becomes £26.21.
RS Online have them for £29.99, so for the extra £3.78 you get faster delivery, UK supplier, a 100% guarantee of no customs charges and easier return policy in the event of a warranty return.

i ordered one of these from gearbest over three weeks ago, still waiting for ti to arrive. the tracking info on the website doesn't tell you anything after it leaves them though so is a bit useless. everything from them just takes so long to arrive.

This is only a deal because its a way of not paying VAT because its more expensive than the RSOnline pre-tax price. So go ahead and enjoy if you are happy to join the happy band of tax evaders and encourage the businesses that feed off them. But please don't complain when the state has to cut back on stuff you value.

I have ordered two off gear best and received them last week. I now have a lovely retropie system running with help from you tube. Nothing wrong with them. RS online are £35 with VAT. I have now ordered some off amazon for £32 as wanted a guarantee

I ordered 3 from gearbest back on 11th September. They never arrived. Gearbest say they shipped but that I have to wait until mid October before they'll do anything about it. Other stuff I've ordered has been ok delivery wise from gearbest.
Think I'll stick with UK supplier from now on for pi's.

Ebay UK has them for £28.79 inc free postage. I know its £3.95 more, but for those you want to buy British and get it quicker.
