^ yep it was quite a farce last year, with the clock determined that I should live in a German timezone.

Hang on, this one's no good for me - the 4 & the 8 are missing. Must be an EU thing.

It’s common knowledge that the UK own the numbers 4 & 8, with Brexit looming it seems the EU have already started.

It's just another confirmation that the 48 are being ignored when it comes to Europe.. :persevere:

Temperature and humidity, must be an outdoor clock, unless it's got an additional wireless transmitter but I can't see in the description anywhere?

Not an outdoor clock. It's a normal clock, it has the sensors inside the clock for indoor use.

Lol what?

Why must be an outdoor one? If you want to know the inside temp and humidity, then it's perfect.

Bought my first RC clock over 20 years ago - made by Oregon Scientific - was quite expensive but it lasted for years and got the signal from Rugby so was it was the correct UK time and instantly corrected itself when the clocks went forward and back. Was great knowing the exact time and no worries about it being wrong.
I have bought a couple from Aldi and Lidl - the LCD type not this one - which have always been set to take the signal from Germany (stands to reason given the sellers) and which you need to over-ride using the settings. However - and this defeats the object - very often it would jump to the German time despite you asking it not to. Seems the problem isn't just confined to this model. In the end I just didn't use them.
Would be much better if they built a model which took the frequency from the UK for the UK market. Seeking out the frequency from Germany comes with problems.

There was a product recall for the ones you bought earlier. They have now fixed the issue hence getting back on sale

- 40°C to + 60°C, that's useful for indoor use!

These things are getting cheaper by the minute, love it!. :-)
I recall a time, in so far a distant past, when just the Radio Controlled Clock ALONE (less Temperature Features and wotnots?), were nearer hitting the £60+ mark, and beyond?!. :-(
WOW how time's have thankfully changed ... lol.

With a temp range like that Its not going to be that practical or accurate. Heat for the rc clock feature though. I wonder if you have to tap the glass to get the humidity gauge to move like my old Grandads barometer... :joy:

I got the one on European time a couple of years ago - just moved the hand back an hour and it’s been perfect ever since. Keeps perfect time, even in my house which has terrible radio reception.

great clock. I had the CET version last time, but just opened the glass cover and moved the small handle by an hour  Hope this time its the UK version, but excellent quality and no worry during clock changes

How did you do that, handle movement, did you simply pushed the handle back with your finger or did you detach the handle and then fixed it back 1hr? wonder will this be a GMT version this time. I bought 2 last year for my parents in Croatia and CET version worked a treat for them.

Here's a fun fact: Most clocks in photos and in shops have the hands on 10 and 2 to make the clock look happy, with a smiley face.... Makes you more likely to buy them.
