Only just signed up to their 2GB, 4G data - 1000 mins, unlimited texts, 30 days sim a couple of days ago, but that is for £9 a month, do you think they will change me over to this one if I ask them?

yes just do a webchat and they will do it for the next month, if you are in the 14 day cooling off period you might get them to change this month as well.

questions that always come up.
1. who do they use - EE 2. can I port my number, yes even from EE 3. what is the signal like - check EE coverage checker, you may not get the full fat EE signal though but generally its around the same. Depending on area I have had up to 25Mb 4. I am with PlusNet already can I get the deal - yes webchat or call them they will do it for you even to the like of uswitch offers. 5. this is a 30 day contract you can change at any time.
Just beware plusnet have load of offers, they have specials with lots of sites and other deals can be found depending on the offers that are out there even better deals than their own site.

My number only ported over yesterday. If they change me over to this deal, will my current number with them be automatically swapped over? Thank you.

We have contracts with tesco that have now ended. How would we go about keeping our numbers with something like this?

You didn't port your numbers across to another supplier or PAYG sim?

How best to combine this with quidco/tcb? Sign up though cashback site and then ask on live chat for uswitch deal?

If TCB pays out (never had issue with Plusnet bb cash back) then this is better deal:
£7.00 monthly SIMO plan - 2.5GB data, 1500 minutes, unlimited texts + £13 TCB topcashback.co.uk/plu…le/
Works out about £5.91/month. TCB £13 ends tomorrow

just done this one myself, only tracked at £10 for some reason so queries TCB. Just be aware that the TCB deals requires you to stay with Plusnet mobile for 60 days. Works out at £1 for 2 month usage if you decide to move one after 60 days of use.

Cashback has ended on that sadly, quidco still do £7 on these contracts so you can still get something!
Strange, wasnt there earlier. Even better though! I'm going through the headache of trying to either leave virgin or get something better from them (1gb/300mins 3G only monthly rolling at £6.27). Debating whether its worth the pain of having to speak to them again after this morning.

Does anyone know once you've signed up for these deals how long the special allowances apply? Might Plusnet switch you back to the standard allowances after one or two months?

Stays the same  i ordered 3 sims the other day and just asked on plusnet chat after seeing your comment.

4 Oct 17#26
That's interesting because when I asked Plusnet Chat I could not get any sort of assurance. The person simply said I would get 30 days notice if the made any changes to the allowances and I could leave if I didn't like it. That's why I posted the question here - to try to find out about customers' experiences of how long the special allowances apply.

This just T&C they are giving you but generally you should be fine.

There's no such thing as standard prices with Plusnet, the price stays the same. They do up up by the RPI once a year though, although should only be pennies.

Thanks Thar - but I was not asking about prices, I was asking about the allowances (data, mins, texts) offered in all these "special deals" which vary from those you can get if you go straight to Plusnet's own site. I'm trying to find out if the extra amounts last for 1 month, 3 months, a year or for ever? Plusnet would not say when I asked them.

How do you enter the PAC code to move from another provider and are you able to select the start date in advance? I would like to start exactly when my previous contract ends (in about 3 weeks)

You can call them or it can be initiated with sms

so it can't be done completely online? (to comply with TPB rules for the other plusnet deal)
