My order canceled also, same reason given no stock on special offer but order was accepted and stock shown, but of course came back in stock a day later at an extra £10, as its a pre order it was obviously a miss price and they chose not to honor it. Best to stick with Amazon, pre order price guarantee, they dont mess you around like Base and you know you can rely on them supplying at the price promised when you order.

i sent a mail saying about the initial silly excuse and they apologised for that and said that it was a misprice based on price information they got from the supplier
pretty much just an apology , so nothing out of it. lot of angry messages been directed at Base though on Twitter and various anime/steelbook forums over the handling of it. they still could of made a lot of money by honouring the orders as would of surely been well over 100+ orders and in doing so took buisness from their competitors

It's the most overrated and hyped anime of all time. It's good,but nothing special compared to ghibli stuff,there are animes that arr equally good if not better like Summer War..I just don't get what's so specia about Your Name.

You're right. Not sure whether all those reviews on IMDb were paid for. Just watched it but it doesn't have the same appeal that Ghibli movies have. The whole time travelling/crossing thing was a bit too convoluted for my liking and it felt like some parts of the movie were longer than they needed to be. The choice of teen rock music didn't really go with the movie as well.

No, if he sits and watches it start to finish regardless of his current energy levels and always ask's for it to be on then he must love it. Plenty of cartoons including Studio Ghibli ones he will not watch. :wink: I would not let him watch South Park or Family guy as he will repeat everything for weeks on end.

Common confusion. Technically Manga are actually the books/comics anime is based on. Anime are the shows/films. The confusion started because of the company called 'Manga' who was pretty much the only distribution company of anime when it started to take off over here in the mid 90s. So seeing 'Manga' come up on the screen people called anime ,manga.

Ill be doing same. Most countries are getting deluxe editions of this, some being near £100+ i think , but if its about about £30 i wouldn't mind an upgrade with maybe an artbook and fancy big box. Just have wait and see, AllTheAnime are definitely looking into it.

Beautiful film, saw it in the cinema the other week. A solid 4* film at a very good price. Collectors edition (this content but not steelbook) is currently £25 on Amazon - the lowest its been there is £20 so this is definitely the best price I've seen it. Thanks OP.

The collectors edition IS the steelbook. It was initially listed as a collectors edition on all sites but within the last month or so was confirmed and updated as a steelbook. Some sites haven't added the info yet thats all
