Great tea this nice and strong. None of that one cup nonsense here just proper tea. This seems to be £4 for 240 when on promo so 480 for £7 is a far better deal. This offer ends 26/09/2017

Has anybody tried the Yorkshire tea from these big bags ? I ask because I previously bought a catering pack of YT and it wasn't as strong as the tea from their boxes of 80/210/240 bags, & I don't want to buy it if this is the weaker one ! PS. I used to use PG Tips but they reduced the quality & taste to make it weaker, so now I stick to YT !

You may have mistakenly bought the "One Cup Teabags" with yellow tag label at the top catering packs as they are weaker. They even also have "Two Cup Teabags" without the yellow tag label catering packs too.
If you want :muscle: flavours, stick to 80/210/240 boxes or get the loose tea leaf one & buy them in bulk when on offer. Look closely at the packet before you put them in your shopping bag.
Nobody likes :poop: tea.

Go by weight as well as number of bags. Work out the weight per bag, in this case 3.125g, and compare on that basis.

All these mentions of PGTips, well for all it's worth a month ago I was running low on Yorkshire Tea so I used one bag for two cups......the result wasn't as bad as you'd think but it tasted to me EXACTLY like PGTips. Make of that what you will. I like my brew and I can tell a difference. Ps Typhoo isn't as bad as some people say as long as you leave the bag in a few minutes as you should do anyway and that stuff is always on special offer somewhere :joy: Lidl gold (black box) isn't bad either. Yorkshire and Twinings the best you'll get in a bag imo

Yep recent convert to Yorkshire Tea - I didn't realise you could get it down South :stuck_out_tongue: Anyway it's got so much more flavour than PG tips.

Every time I buy tea for work I buy Yorkshire Tea because it's delicious. I even put a YT tin on the shelf. I always try to buy the tea before anyone else because life is way too short for rubbish tea. Someone's just bought a 1000+ sack of red label. THIS IS NOT OK. Now there is a parallel tea situation going on and these red label will be there forever. Maybe it's time I leaves. LIFE IS TOO SHORT FOR RUBBISH TEA.

not as good a deal, but 240 bags are currently £4 in tesco at the moment, which isn't bad at all. under 2p a bag is my price point for yorkshire tea, it's def worth paying a bit more for.

Its like I said in My original post £4 seems to be the promo price point for this now which You rightly point out is a fair price.
This deal is 15p per 10 tea bags. The challenge was to find a similar price for hard water tea bags. At 16p per 10 tea bags, this Amazon deal is close amazon.co.uk/gp/…YW/ However, this is an addon item and so you need a £20 basket to make this work.
