I like the "notify and fitness" app. Adds a lot more functionality than the base "mi band" app.

I'd be glad to send you my order history for Gearbest (private message). I've been shopping there ever since I've learned about chinese market. I've actually grabbed this right after I posted it for 12 pounds and it's not a bad deal. My friend has one and I've used it before and it's actually quite a nice product too. Well worth the price.

At this point, I'm convinced that the people posting here to say they've got the deal are Gearbest employees trying to lure people to their site.
I have seen this deal almost every day posted and re-posted here, and I have literally never ever got the discounted price when I actually go onto the website.

You MUST be logged in to your account in order to use the code as the codes are sometimes region locked and it's helpful that you have an address added to your account so you can know easily. Also promotion codes will always bring you to login screen. There's no way to order without registering. You can easily just sign up with Google like I did

The link goes to a Chinese site with a .com domain. I'm guessing you've not used aliexpress, gearbest, geekbuying etc. before but they're all Chinese sites selling products from Chinese manufacturers to international customers. Aliexpress in particular is owned by Alibaba who are worth about 2 times more than Amazon so it's worth paying attention to these companies.

Xiaomi Mi Bands have been great in the past and from personal experience. I own the Mi Band 1S for over three months now and with that little battery it got me around 3 weeks + of charge without stops of some features. I had vibrating after 3 seconds from calls and sleep tracker on in general. My neighbor and my brother have the Mi Band 2 which they both bought at the normal price (23$) and they still claim it's worth even for that price. I can only agree with them.
Connections are flawless for the Mi Band 2, and the software is well polished. There might be a few bugs here and there but that's pretty much every software nowadays. Would totally recommend this device.
After all, if you don't like it, there're people you can sell it to for the normal price

Your wife will want one of these! I guarantee it.
I kitted out the whole family for much less than one Fitbit (just under £40). They are amazing : IP67 (we regularly to swimming, have showers/baths with them on), genuinely over 30 day battery life, 1-2 hour charges, changeable bands, regular firmware updates, activity monitoring. Not to mention the pedometer, heart rate monitor, alerts and alarms etc.
You can also link with your friends/family to monitor their activity.
This is probably the best overall tech buy I've bought in ages.
Everybody hates that I keep reiterating the specs, plus prices compared to their Fitbit.
