Wouldn't share with random people over Facebook or Twitter, well certainly not with a main account. People are willing to do it but it runs a risk for both parties. It's better to share with family or friends as if all goes wrong you can go and play hell with them in person.

That SeaGamer site didn't work for me, on their online chat they told me to do a lower amount (Saw someone previously was stuck with lower amounts and then it failed) Offered nowhere for just a debit card as was going to use the Revolut. Paypal didnt work and processing fee was £1.40 or something, still mega saving if you can get it

Yes - it is almost always what I use for Russian credits. Works perfectly.

I did it this way, Had to send a copy off my id before they would let the funds clear for the codes. All in all it took about an hour to send my id and the funds to clear.

Annoyingly I get:

People using credits to buy the game sounds complicated. Last year I purchased EA access 12 months with my UK debit card from the Brazilian Xbox store on my browser. I put a fake Brazilian address and it worked a treat.

i downloaded flyvpn for my mac, chose hong kong as destination whilst roaming russia. it let me purchase the russian xbox credit via Credit card. then i went to the russian xbox site via the link from this page and inserted the codes i had bought.

Don't need no Revolut or VPN. Buy Russian credit from plati.ru (using Bitcoin) or seagm.com (using PayPal) or nilt.ru . Then click on the link in this post, it takes you to the store page where you purchase the game, click the buy button, it will ask for payment method, one of the options is to add a gift card, click that, enter the codes you received for buying credit, then click accept that you want to use the credit to purchase the game, if not already set, it will ask you to enter an address for your Microsoft account, just Google Russian address format, find a random address and use it, it will let you purchase the game. Done.

Worked for me using nilt.ru. Only thing I'd add is to change your address back from the 'russian' one by going to accounts.microsoft.com then address book otherwise it'll be your default :wink:

To be fair dude, you're far from helpful. Im having the same issues, paypal won't work, cards won't work, spend nearly a full day in this and still can't get it to work.

Tentatively reporting success here. I intend on playing on my laptop as I do not have an xbox.

- Bought a 2000 ruble xbox card from nilt.ru for 1715 rubles. No need for VPN, you just need to translate each web page.

- Paid by credit card using the card option of their available options. Don't use Paymaster wallet. Also, Revolut or other 'virtual' cards won't work as they do not support 3D Secure - basically the Verified by Visa or Mastercard equivalent.

- Code for the card arrived by email almost instantly

- Navigated to the xbox store on the get deal link. Again no need for VPN. Just selected and loaded my 2000 ruble card to my account and redeemed. Used a Hilton hotel as the address, and everything got accepted.

- I logged out of my microsoft account when the purchase was complete, and navigted to the UK xbox store and logged in. The game is showing as ready to install. Also checked the Windows store, and it is ready to go there to on release.

I paid using my standard Halifax credit card, where I think the fee is 2.75% of the transaction. So should be about 60p. I'm not sure if this is included, but the pending payment on my credit card is only £22.07. Even with an extra couple of quid, this is easily the best price. If there are no extra costs, it even beats the magical Eqyptian price :sunglasses:

I used Natwest Mastercard successfully for nilt.ru. To be honest I wouldn't risk using a debit card as its dodgy enough using a foreign site so probably safer if it doesn't work anyway! I also had the securecode flash up but didn't ask anything.

Mine is a Halifax MasterCard, if that helps.

I am being 100% helpful, within the first four posts it tells him quite clearly everything he's trying is totally pointless, but he's obviously not taking that in because it's not what he wants to hear ie no Egypt, no Revolut, no direct from MS!

You on the other hand are having completely different problems as you sound like you are going about it the right way but it's not working.

From personal experience plati.ru and seagm.com are a pain with crappy pay mechanisms that seem to be where most people are failing. nilt.ru on the other hand is very easy to use, what you do need though is a credit card that uses 3D verification as others have said. That's one of those that pops up the small window from your card supplier after you have put your details in asking for either letters from a secret word or some other details like dob etc to prove it's you using it. If you don't have one of them I'm afraid you may be out of luck, a lot don't use it anymore but a Halifax Clarity card definitely does if you have one of them and if you buying from abroad in any capacity you should have one of them so you don't get fleeced for charges or on the exchange rate.

just an FYI to PC gamers, the demo is getting slatted at the moment for really bad performance and crashes to desktop (sounds very similar to the early days of Horizon 3 and it never really got fully sorted out).

I used Plati to purchase the Russian Credit, Eventually... The website kept rejecting both my LLoyds Credit and Debit cards all night. I tried it again yesterday morning and it worked fine. You will know if its going to work because it will take you to the banks 3D security system and then take you back to the Plati website and it will say somthing like Awaiting payment and it will keep refreshing the screen until the payment is cleared. Mine took about 1 min.

Now we move onto the next problematic bit. You cant just redeem the code via the redeem section. It can only be redeemed at the point of buying the Forza. So basically you click purchase Forza 7 and it will ask you how you want to pay. You click "Use Payment/Gift card". Thats the only way i could get the credit to redeem.

Also im not sure if this is necessary but i Created a dummy address in my payment options linking me to the Hilton Hotel in Moscow. BTW you can only create this when your on the Russian version of Microsoft or it locks the address to UK.

So just put your Debit/Credit card numbers in like usual but for the address just put the Hitlons Hotel (Or any address in Russia)

After all this is done you should be able to see Forza 7 in the Ready to install section on your xbox. Weird thing is though, its only 100mb lol. Prob because its pre release...

nilt.ru completely no go for me, tried 3 CC's and 1 DD and all gave authorisation declined.

I bought the standard edition but the big problem I have is I can't even download the demo! It says I need to download the Windows Creator Update... and when I do, my PC freezes when it restarts!!!!! Grrr Microsoft, why cant you be like Steam?????

Looks like the update may be going through now... I had to un-plug all usb except mouse and keyboard. Unlink the power to all hard drives except my main one and also only have one bluray drive with power.... so providing you have one hard disc and one bluray drive... it should install fine. Great Thinking Microsoft.

1. Bought 2000 points from a seller using a credit card.
2. Changed the PC region settings in Windows 10 to Russia.
3. Loaded Xbox store app on Windows 10, clicked on redeem points, it worked.
4. Searched Forza, found the game and purchased it using the points, I had to put an Russian address in which it saved, I used Hilton in Moscow as the address, used google.

People who are having problems paying at the nilt.ru site.. it could be a Google Chrome issue - my payments kept getting rejected on Chrome, so I used Firefox and it worked fine. I was reluctant to try this deal, but it seems to have worked fine.

Don't get me wrong, Horizon 3 was a great game but it was really poorly optimized. I have two PC's both over the recommended specs with clean Windows 10 on them and one of them needs a 3rd party app to control vysnc in the background to prevent it randomly crashing the desktop every 5 mins - 2 hours (its that random!) game time!

Does this still work? Am interested in the ultimate edition...

Just tried the demo on my GTX 980 TI, it ran OK, was smooth but there was a good 1 second pause half way through a race... really weird. The loading times are stupidly long too and I have a 500gb NvME Samsung 960 Evo haha

Nah you won't get charged multiple times, I tried like 5 days ago with another card and got the same error - no activity on my account. Plus when I look at my account on the credit site, it shows the other transactions with 'Awaiting Payment' so they will just time out.

After 2 days of grief I actually managed this. Everything seemed to fall into place by luck more than anything.

What I did suffer with was I ordered 3x1000 cards, they charged me for all 3, but the email link said 1 didn't work as it was out of stock, so I would have to contact them for a refund.
I went straight back on top order 2x500, which worked,went to redeem all cards, at this point it have me access to the first 1000 that said it was unavailable the first time. Not entirely sure how that happened, but I'm now sat with 1000rub thats not actually bloody needed, and it obviously cost more.

Just played the demo of this on an Nvidia surround PC (three monitors with a logitech racing wheel). Well done Microsoft it plays well and looks great.

As the console is region free, its just like buying a game from the USA for example and playing it when you get back home. No difference.

VPN method from laptop works on every single store I've tried and lets me use my revolut, it's a pain changing the store all the time on the Xbox one but the VPN route is probably the easiest way than messing with codes and third party stores. Also this way has the added bonus of no left over credit.

Thank you OP so much! That's was easy. On the pc all you need to do is have a Russian address, buy the amount of credit you need from the site then change your store setting to Russia in the control panel. Add codes and then buy. NO VPN!

Wasn't going to bother with this at launch this year but after having bought PCars 2 on Monday I've changed my mind, PCars is a shambles, everything handles like a trolley with a pad. Wish I'd not bothered with Project Cars!

Project cars 2 looks good and for some cars / tracks the handling is great with a wheel. That said though, the first corner of Brno in a Formula C car is almost impossible. It just looses all traction half way round the corner.

At Brands Hatch I hold the record for the time trial in a formula c, but on other tracks I'm easily 6 or 7 seconds off the pace.

For handling, Assetto corsa is by far the best racing game out there. Sadly it doesn't compete with it's career mode or extra bells and whistles graphically.

Those experiencing stutter (because its only using 1 core/thread or something) - try turning off game mode in the settings/game menu in windows 10.

Haven’t tried it yet myself but I was researching this morning as I’m getting slight stutter (mainly in menus) with a ryzen 1600 3.8ghz/r9 280x/16gb dam, so hopefully this will fix and the load times will decrease!

I contacted Microsoft via their xbox webpage live chat after accidentally purchasing a dlc for forza 7 which was already included in the ultimate version of forza 7 and requested a refund. They returned the funds back to my xbox account.
