To confirm, this offer is 100% valid. I picked mine up last night on launch of destiny 2. I traded in Xbox one and all the games in the bundle since I already owned them.

I WORK there, i read the documents that came down, which said you can pre purchase ANYTHING that has destiny 2 in it from monday. (but can't collect the game until wednesday) I've SOLD one of them, literally put it through the till myself. it worked and it was fine. their copy of destiny was put in the back for them to pick up wednesday or later.
truth is alot of stores are very naughty & incompetent. , and all they care about is there sales figures, they care about their high attaches for extended warranty on the machines, they're important for each store & person. & i know for a fact alot of stores will put off selling consoles as long as humanly possible to preserve their attach rates.
wither that or they're just incompetant, it'll be a mix of the two.
seriously anyone who was refused to be sold this bundle today, should complain to the company, and the stores that have refused to sell them today will get in a lot of trouble.

The must have console this Christmas is Nintendo Switch; Mainly because of Mario but also the portability and other upcoming exclusives. This is somewhat proven with Mario winning practically every major award at gamescom including 'Most Anticipated. Xbox doesn't have the amount of exclusives to compete at the moment (Although Sea of Thieves looks ace) and the price point although reasonably priced for the One X is in the higher niche bracket and not so much an under the tree children's present. Sony hold all of the cards because they are due another major release within the next couple of years and once again Xbox will be put on the back foot. I agree to own both but think now is the time to buy the One S and hold out til the PS5 because at that point Xbox X will have no choice but to drop further like the One S is doing and you will have at least 3/4years before another console war.
edit: Unless you don't care about money then of course get the latest and greatest on release and enjoy. I would! Lol

the staff probably haven't done their jobs correctly. first thing to bare in mind is it's not shown on the displays showing what console bundles are available yet. because destiny 2 is not out yet. but game do a thing called prepurchase, which is buy the game, before launch but not receive till after launch.
Before every big game launches, every store gets what we call a launch document. this gives an outline on the game and any offers including consoles, strat guides etc. Unfortunatley alot of stores don't read that doc like their supposed to. because it's not displayed on the console bundle display screens they'll just say they aren't doing the deal. which is probably what's happened to you.
it'll 100% be there tomorrow. and if you buy one, on the bottom of your receipt, leave feedback and complain that they didn't do their jobs right, by not reading the launch doc and not knowing what offers were available to purchase/prepurchase you had to make multiple journeys.

What do you think? the worlds most powerful console that sold out the first batch in no time and you want to know if threes going to be any deals. I bought the original Xbox one which im still using at launch and it was £449 i know it dropped quickly as the PS4 was more powerful but Xbox have no one to complete with as the PS4 Pro is 40% less powerful so i wouldn't expect to see any drops in price until well after Xmas if at all as it will be the console to have this Christmas and you only have to look at the PS4 Pro. I bought the Pro on preorder from Tesco and with the code it cost around £319 and that console is still the same price or more than what i paid for it after nearly 12 months its lost basically zero of its initial cost. The OneX has supposedly a Nvidia 1070 class GPU inside and they are nearly the entire price of the OneX so at £449 its a bargain and i know theirs going to be the usual haters saying its overpriced and the PS4 is better but in reality its not, the OneX is one hell of a console and is worth every penny of the asking price and if your worried about exclusives get a PS4 which most people own anyway the best way to get the best of it is to have both consoles.

Had the One S a couple of months and got to say I'm really impressed. No clicking fan noise - quietest console I've ever owned and fan is super efficient. Backwards compatibility is a stand out feature of the One S. I went 500gb and have a 2TB external drive which seemed like a better option than a 1TB drive. Whilst the user interface is a tad confusing for my middle aged brain, I have worked my way around.
My biggest regret is never owning an Xbox 360, so I can really save on the BC feature. I recently worked out what kind of gamer I am and BC is the direction I want to go in, as I play more last gen than current gen games. I look at my stack of PS3 games I can't play on PS4 and sigh.... :cry: However, I look at my Xbox One games and think yay - I can play these on the One X when its time to upgrade.
