Not for new customers as it's in there smallest t&c ever as I had to pay my ps pro within 3 months because it didn't tell you this anywhere I could find

I'm sorry to hear that, i am new customer to very and i have just ordered this console, on the pic i posted above you have to choose an option to buy now pay later, i choose the 9 months option, and when i get the statement i assume it will give me details on the options i have, i was thinking as long as it payed off in this period there will be no interest ?

Hoping some others very customers will chime in and let me know if this the case.

Yeah I put I wanted buy now pay later but found out when my first statement came wasn't on there contacted them they do not allow buy now pay later on the first 30 days of a new account which i never new as long as you pay within the first 3 months you want be charged any interest

Just thought I'd mention, you need to set up a take three direct debit and they will split it into three payments for you
and direct debit them on a monthly basis, otherwise you will end up missing a payment and defaulting.

Word of advice - I'd plug in and get it setup before their birthdays. There will be a lot large updates you'll need install on each console that could take hours to download. The last thing you'd want is your kids to get the consoles, be super excited to play, then find they can't play for another few hours. Much better for them to be able to plug in and play straight away. Same for the games as well unfortunately - there will be separate updates to download for each one.

Also 7.07% cashback at Topcashback. Tracked minutes later at £9.42 (it has the purchase price as £133 for some reason, but at £160 it would only be £2 extra cashback, so no biggie).

So potentially around £155 delivered after cashback. I didn't get an option to click and collect (which they advertise as free). Not sure if I missed it or not.

Well, i didn't want one, so i just set up a quick Very account anyway as its nice to have one on standby. And i didn't need one, so i just put it in my basket to see how it looked there. And i couldn't really justify one because i already have a PS4 but I went to the checkout just to see if the price was valid for me.

And i bought one. Damn you HUKD.

Hi Smythey1, you cant get the pad and/or the 12 months live for that price, just select the console and game for £199.99 and add that to your basket, hope that helps.

just wanted to share my thoughts on why i grabbed the Xbox from very,
These are my reasons for the purchase,

1, To get the deal you have to sign up for the finance agreement, so i did.

2, BNPL (buy now pay later) is a deferred purchase, your financier will pay nothing until the end of the deferred period you choose you can also pay nothing if you wish, but after the deferred period APR is added. very.co.uk/bnp…962
Or you can pay how much you want a month, or pay the full price within that period to avoid charges. I choose 9 months.

3, For me personally signing up to a finance agreement that I am not going to use, should not affect my credit score in any negative way. i plan to pay off the balance in full.

4, On my very account the credit limit was reduced of the price i payed for the console, this does not mean the financier has payed, but just simply showing my overall account balance.

@Pr0zZy For me its hot because i saved nearly £40, also the discount has been around for a while, but the Xbox with Forza 3 and Destiny 2 for £199 has not.

Are you selecting the option to set up a credit account with very? The code only works if you set that up first, I used an existing very account but signed up to the credit account for the first time and it worked for me.

Thanks a lot for this deal, I chose the option with an extra controller. It was £195.98 and I'll be selling on Destiny (£35 at cex) and Forza (£20-£30 on ebay) so realistically I'd say I've ended up with the console and an extra controller for around £130/£140

I ordered this on Thursday, and it arrived on Friday. I sold the Forza code on eBay for £30 that evening, and I've just sold Destiny for £40 today. So I've got the console and an extra controller for about £125, not bad at all.

cold cos you have to take credit to get the offer and this type of crap causes so many people misery credit is signing your soul away Ive never had credit in my life wouldn't ever take it and wont get anything on a credit cos i have no Credit history something am quite proud of i aint been slave to that system if i aint got the cash i can't have if i want something i save for it or make sure I've saved to pay for it :smile:

I've see the damage and misery credit brings and the tears when they send folk knocking on your door to try recover that unpaid debts folk cant manage to keep paying
Credit was invented to exploit folk with money problems and they fleece the most vulnerable people in the society on the lowest incomes while the companies make billions

I'm not sure why this is exactly hot to be honest? Very have had their 20% discount to new credit customers running for years. Personally I'm not in favour of opening:closing credit accounts and messing about with my credit score for a saving of £15.00 or so

BTW that code is good for 10% off all electricals on the first order as well. I just got the xbox one for £159.99 and and iPad pro 10.5 256GB for £638.00 so if you need anything else it's worth having a look before you go through checkout.

Cheers op just ordered and paid off in full immediately.

Went for the bundle with the extra controller and added Battlefield One too. Came to £211.98 after the code and my email confirmation shows this: "500GB Console with Forza Horizon 3 and Destiny 2 plus Optional Extra Controller and 12 Months Xbox Live LXMLX15**" so has it glitched and given me 12 months live too?!

I've sold a couple of codes for various things through eBay and it's been fine so far. I must admit though I'm always a bit wary as it would be so easy for them to just use the code then claim it hasn't worked.

I think it just depends whether u want to take the risk or not, yes people do get conned but I'd like to think that happens very rarely. Of course you're going to hear about the times when people do get screwed over, but you'll never hear about all the other times it goes smoothly.

Personally I still have faith in the honesty of the average person. Whether or not that's justified is another question though (and I'm sure my opinion will change very quickly once someone screws me over, lol)
