Are these recommended to use with a mid range amp like the dennon 3300?

Received my speakers yesterday and set-up with the #60 VX2 and sounds very very good as 2.0 set-up. I too recommend highly. Can't advise on the Denon 3300 but Whathifi stated in their review that the 220s are unfussy which I presume means they work well with a wide array of options. I'd call Richer sounds and pay them a visit to demo them together.

I've got a pair reserved so I guess I can ask to listen first, I'm wanting to use them as rears for surround as I already have a pair of floor speakers that I'm very happy with then I just need ceiling speakers for atmos.

I have one connected to Wharfedale Diamond 9.0s and works a charm with digital inputs. i'm using USB but also has co-ax and toslink so perfect for a Chromecast Audio and BubbleupNP/Foobar2000, Weakness is that there arn't any analogue inputs or headphone out but for less than £60 a steal. So for less than £200 you could have the 220s, the VX2 a Chromecast Audio, which in my opinion offers a solution rivaling if not beating a Sonos system, espicially if you own your own media.
