I signed up for the 10% discount which didn't work. Called support and they confirmed the discount code is not applicable to recertified units

great to know, seems some could do with the code at least. I never receive code after new register. I now try get one by subscribe the newsletter.
PS, it works, get a 10% discount code right after subscribe (although not sure if it works with certified items)

Hi, anyone knows how to contact WD? I was sent the 10% discount code but it does not work (had tried all items new or certified). I check their website over and over and find nothing. Thanks in advance

I see that while it is not currently in stock, the price has reduced to £62.99 for the White 4tb version. I have asked CS for a refund for the difference since it has reduced in price within 24 hours of ordering. You never know :P

oh, no... I thought they would do the difference like high street shops (eg Currys). Sadly it is not.

I ordered and register and sign for the newsletter but got nothing back, so should I ask my family to just sign for a newsletter (without register) to get a discount code, thanks?

Sign up to the newsletter, then confirm the email and you get 10% off of your next purchase instantly. You can get higher percentage discounts on things like your birthday or just randomly aswell.

I've just tried my 20% code on a new product and it still doesn't work. Only got it 2 or 3 weeks ago too

I've had codes in the past and they didn't apply to recert stuff, so I grabbed this without bothering to look for the code as I was looking just a few weeks ago at the cheapest 4tb 2.5" and it was about £100 if you couldn't get a recert
I've had a few recert drives in the past, one failed upon testing and I got a refund after faffing around, and used the discount code to get a bigger new drive at a good price so worked out fine in the end. I've never had a recert fail on me after I've started using it. I've always got stuff backed up once or twice. the stuff on this drive will be the fourth copy, a handy and cheap portable backup in case the laptop drive fails when I'm on the road

They sent me a 20% code 3 weeks ago too. I've been waiting for another deal like this but when I came to use it last night, it didn't work
I was thinking maybe they dont work with 'recertified' but apparently not so

just got a white one. i've been waiting ages for a cheap 4tb 2.5" to come into stock. i got the white one. having a look online it seems there is no sata connection and the usb is soldered on so you can't easily stick in a laptop or whatever (if you could get it to fit). i was wanting to try to get it in my laptop. if someone can find this isn't right, please let me know. i'll open mine when i get it
