Looking around for a baby's first birthday gift & came across this classic VTech Baby Playtime Bus with Phonics for just £13.20 at Tesco, bought back some memories of my youngest 2 playing with the one they had. I really rate it for play & learning value (especially at this price), it has excellent reviews across the net too. Still £19.99 at Argos, £22.99 at Toys R Us / Smyths Toys.
Climb aboard for a fun learning journey with the VTech Playtime Bus! Through over 100 interactive curriculum questions, your child can learn phonic sounds, letters, vocabulary, numbers, counting, and safety rules; also includes a quiz mode to reinforce learning. Features over 30 lively melodies, songs, and fun bus-related sounds effects, 26 letter buttons, 1–10 number buttons, brake, horn and driver buttons, and an open and close door. Chunky buttons on the top of the bus call out shapes, while the smiling passengers say funny phrases when pressed. Encourages language development, basic maths skills, and discovery and exploration

Went instore to check today. £22 on the shelf. I did ask if it was available to click & collect straight away, but was told I'd need to do it online. Clicked to collect tomorrow from the same store for £10 less!

My younger lassie loved this when she was wee and now i slso have a wee grandson, who also loves it...BUT it will drive you mental! You will be humming the tune in work, when you put it in the toy box it will go off on another tune, touch it at all and it will switch on arghhh! Maybe mine was possesed! Kids love it though.

I bought this about 4 years ago and it wasnt as good as their original one. I bought 2 of the original ones about 7 and 10 years ago. This new one has crapper buttons and only lasted a few months. The original ones took every kind of abuse you can give a toy including leaving it it the rain for several weeks lol.
