That Mali-720 will barely drive the OS, so don't think about playing games with this.

Yeah had Mali t720 on Lenovo k3 note and it wasn't very good. Although I think most of the issues were to do with thermal throttling. On paper it's has decent specs that just don't seem to translate to the observed performance.

If it’s anything like the two Voyo 7” tablets I got for my kids, I’d take the battery capacity with a huge pinch of salt

I think generally people are a little unrealistic about what to expect from a battery. So my 5.5" smartphone lasts me about 10Hrs usage (no gaming) and the screen uses about 40% or about 1200mAh.
Now a 10.1" tablet has a screen area about 4 times the size so I would expect it to use about 4800mAh (or nearly the entire battery). So as the screen accounts for about 40% of usage you should expect about 4 hours of general usage. If gaming then expect considerably less.
Some tablets do have tiny batteries. The Voyo X7 for example only has a 2000mAh battery. That would be considered small for a phone nevermind a tablet.

This is the same spec exactly as the Teclast 98. I've got one of those and its pretty good - agree it's not for gaming but build quality is v.good and battery life is fine.

Yes they do - I saw the review where they were faulty, but mine work (tried with EE and 3)

I'm looking for a 7" phablet so wondering whether to go with the VOYO (£55.90) which is only Android 5.0 & 3G but 2GB/32GB & 4000mAh Li-ion polymer battery geekbuying.com/ite…tml
or pay a bit more for the better known LENOVO (£76.58) which has 4G & Android 6.0 but 1GB/16GB & 3450mAh Li-ion battery geekbuying.com/ite…tml
 Any advice/opinions? Thanks

Gearbest offering Android 7 version though..!
specs: VOYO Q101 4G Phablet - ANDROID 7.0 + EU PLUG LUXURY GOLD COLOR
Customs fees are not factored in. If you really want to buy this, choose the DE or IT option shipping from EU for an additional 15. You will get it much faster and will probably be cheaper.
