Agreed, I'm sure they count on some people messing up somehow otherwise why not just do the deal for that price in the first place?

Just so people are not confused, you don't actually need to post anything, you just have to log in to your Mobiles.co.uk account and upload your PDF bill for the required month (4,6,8,10 and 12).

Which takes about 2 to 3 minutes in total including downloading the bill from Vodafone. Let's call it 5 minutes and you need to do it 5 times for the contract so that's 25 minutes in total and that's being generous with the time taken.

Better cancel it and go for the 25Gb plan if you want spotify premium.

Yes once you get your SIM and port number go on to your mobiles.co.uk account and they have that option. Been using these cashback deals from mobiles.co.uk for years very simple to do.

Currently just gone into the 13th month of one of these Voda deals through Mobiles from last year. I take it I can't port my number straight to this new deal? Will I have to port out to say GiffGaff and back to this new Voda deal?

You could change it to a Vodafone PAYG and then port it again to your new sim but it takes 30 days to do switch from PAYM to PAYG. If you want to port quicker then port to another network and then back. Try to use a pre-activated sim otherwise you may have to topup a minimum of £5/10 to activate it.

You can. I think you could also use certain free sim. The Three sim that comes with 200mb allowance. Asda Mobile could work. Asda Mobile sim will come with 10 minutes, 10 text messages and 10 MB data for the first 30 days so you can activate it for free.

Yes, give them notice on your account if pay monthly and out of any agreement, i.e. 12 month contact, etc, then they will put you on PAYG tarrif. When new sim arrives, ask them to add existing PAYG (sim) to your new low tariff. I've just done so for my son.

Got home, sim been delivered and I can confirm that the 25GB plan comes with Entertainment Pack (including Spotify), as double checked with Vodafone who texted me the link to set this up.
After cashback, £16.75 for 25GB of data and Spotify Premium for 12 months. That's a bargain.
Got £10.50 from TCB too.

I'm currently on Voda for both broadband and mobile. My mobile contract ends next month. Would I need to transfer my mob account away to to another network to take advantage of this and retain my number or are they clever enough to continue my existing account and keep me on Voda without me having to jump through hoops?

Shame they stopped offering Spotify with the 16 and 20GB tariffs as they did back in April. Managed to get this for £10.50 after Redemption with 20GB and Spotify Premium plus Quidco paid out £15 which put the total per month under the cost of Spotify by itself.
