While browsing uk.camelcamelcamel.com i stumbled across that "wee" gem. Since i was a child i always wanted to own one. Now at the age of 36 i fulfilled my dream (well not delivered yet). According to camel it was never that cheap, but it requires a little bit of patience, they are currently being made in Switzerland and Amazon is awaiting for delivery. Enjoy
It says £47.31 for me. Missed it I think :disappointed:

My Victorinox is 20 years old and I use the scissors on it on weekly basis. They are as sharp as in day one. Although I love pundshops I doubt they can come even closer qualitywise to Victorinox

Oh and the placing of the Phillips head driver on this one is so tempting.... I hate having my Phillips head where the corkscrew is on this one

I have the trekker, it too has a locking blade but mine is a one handed opening one... The locking blade ones though illegal to carry without good reason are much safer imho, and great beat-em-up knives....

The Outrider is the perfect house knife for me with its screwdrivers, scissors, corkscrew and bottle opener (and even the blade is useful too!).
My Classic SD on my keys has freed three bag straps from train doors and saved the the owners from missing their stops!

Get an "Alox cadet" for a bit less - super lightweight and compact with an excellent grip, UK legal and got plenty of features (and the nail file point works as a small Phillips)

The Huntsman at only £3 more than this?
This is a great price though.

This is terrific value for money (I have one) but please think of it as a house knife. I keep mine with the kitchen cutlery and use it at least once a week for one task or another. If you want an every day pocket knife the Deluxe Tinker is a better bet as that is legal to just leave in your trouser pocket and to then forget about it until needed.

This is also legal to carry isnt it? As far as I can tell it isnt a locking blade and its less than 3 inches.
EDIT: Ok it actually seems this is a little bigger than 3 inches.

Victorinox are awesome quality SAK's, i have the Huntsman and the Camper, with the latter always on my keys. But i wouldn't buy this one because of possible legal hassle with the locking blade, no matter how remote that might be.

Hot. Just ordered.
Was lucky enough to get the classic SD deal from Tesco for £6 last week, it's a backup to the classic SD that's a permanent fixture on my keys.
Worth noting that'd I think this is illegal to carry in the UK due to the locking blade. The blade might be slightly too long too.
