Cheers mate. Funnily enough, just after posting above I thought I had better risk it and order before they sell out, and ended up going for the Air Reach. I'm glad to hear honest feedback from someone who has one.
It was the turbo tool that swung it to the Air Reach over the Air Stretch.

Mate, got the vac delivered and it's great, but where on earth does the turbo tool store on the machine when not in use?

Decided against Vax as - after reading reviews - appears to be a cheap and nasty make. Looking at Shark for something a little more reliable but without the Dyson price.

My advise would be not to purchase any VAX products as they don't honour their 6 year warranty. I have a VAX cleaner and the wheels failed after 18 months of light use. They refused to repair it because it wasn't a motor that had failed and because they didn't fail in the first two weeks it wasn't a design issue. There are lots of one star reviews on Amazon by customers that have had exactly the same problem as myself.

I know theres been some issues where some of the blade accessory kits don't work on the 32v, is anyone aware if the kits available now will work on the 32v?
gazjon to umirza85
27 Sep 17#45
Bought a Blade 32V a couple of months ago, the accessory kit came free with it. Haven't had a problem with any of the extras. Mind you they are all parts that should have come with it anyway. The main negative is the end fittings being too short to actually be of any great use if attached directly to the Blade itself, and adding them to the extension tube makes them too long to work in small spaces.

I got a few items with my blade but not the entire accessory kit, I just heard that not all are compatible with the blade 32v for some reason.

Good discounts but Vax are heavy and loud. Still better than overpriced Dyson but Miele is the best.

Heavy and loud, I beg to differ. They have models weighing less than five kilo and the Mach Air I have doesn't seem loud to me.

Only 2 year guarantee when most offer 5. Bought one a few years ago on one of these sales, broke after 8 months, replacement broke with 2 months,. The retail prices on which savings are based are not normal, the discount is maybe half what is claimed. Not bad but also not as good as may appear at first.

Maybe the uprights, only the most expensive cylinder has more than 2 years. I cross referenced against other sellers, it is 2 years. Reading the reviews on Amazon these don't look very reliable.

Great prices, but....
I bought an "Air Total Home" from the Vax sale in 2014, it was ok for a few months, only getting light use in a flat, but it steadily lost suction.
To get it back on track, every couple of months I had to dismantle the cylinder section and clean everything out which was arduous.
Bought a Dyson CY23 Total Clean which is far superior (cleaned with the Vax, followed by the Dyson and it pulled up lots that the Vax had failed to)

Incidentally, on a lot of the pages - the Air Reach that I ordered included - the guarantee is listed as 2 years. However if you download the instruction manual from the main Vax website it says 6 year guarantee. Argos site also lists 6 year guarantee and within a few minutes of ordering I also had an e-mail from Vax to confirm 6-year guarantee. Happy with that considering I was looking at the refurb Dysons on ebay with 2 year guarantee.
Has anyone had experience of claiming on the guarantee after 5 years? My old Panasonic had 5 year guarantee and after 4 1/2 years was kaput. Panasonic stopped making parts for them so ended up just refunding me a pro-rata amount of the purchase price.

If youre after 10L Dehumidifier - you;re better off buying it from main VAX website. On vaxsale it costs £95 delivered. If you subscribe to newsletter from Vax, they send you a £10 off code. That brings the price down to £89,99 delivered(nominated delivery day). The code looks generic so you may probably try toput it on Vax website without subscribing to junk mail. WELCOME-SXDN
