Platinum made the game. Thankfully Sega was the publisher and they used Little Stone to do the port so it's actually a good port and received several patches unlike some of Platinums' games from other publishers.

it's an awesome game and worth the money if you haven't played, really underrated title at the time. Have played and completed it on PS3, tempted to see it in higher res

This game is so much fun and well worth the cash. A must buy if you like your arcade shooters.
The PC version was released this year and has upgraded graphics

It's a high quality port of a classic. The original struggled to hit a measly 30fps at sub 720p. This runs with an uncapped framerate and at 4k. Even some modern ports fail to have an uncapped framerate because it takes effort to unlock the games engines physics from the frame rate.

You find ports of older games on the PS4 such as Kingdom Hearts.......
Heat btw. Awesome game on 4K. Picked this up on release even though I have it on the 360.

got this free several years ago (~2013) via PS Plus on my PS3 it wasn't worth it.
