yeah..mine goes 2 days with no use. I have everything switched off though including wifi, bluetooth. Left my phone at work last weekend and used it then and the battery goes a day for me with moderate use.. including some tethering with my tablet.

I haven't been using mine properly as it's primarily a backup! But I leave it switched on with a three sim in it, but I'm finding after 24 hours battery almost dead or has already powered off, how's your battery life

Mine seems to last more than a couple of days with little or low usage (currently at 58% after nearly 48 hours off the grid, including a time with two SIMs, a restart and some calls)

Just scan will all available antivirus and tell. I have not seen a single Doogee phone without spyware and virus so sceptical this will be any different. These phones are subsidised by preinstalled viruses which cannot be removed .

I scanned with malwarebytes initially it reported 1 critical and two critical problems but once I clicked fix it reported problems fixed, whatever the problems were I'm non the wiser

I assume you meant to say "1 critical and two [non] critical"? If so, that's just the standard warning when you first install Malwarebytes. 1 critical = full scan hasn't been run. 2 non critical = apps haven't been scanned and it wants admin rights. If you uninstall and reinstall it, you'll see those 3 problems again, at first.

For safe measures though not sure if they work to prevent adverts that pop up... 1/ I uninstalled DG Xender 2/ For DG Security App, cannot uninstall it, not sure how to use it and what it does as yet, but I set "modify system settings" to "No".

Was your phone dead , no charge in it, I've only just plugged in for first charge, it was showing red led for about 30 seconds but now gone out! I think I've got a dud!

Mine had some power in the battery, first took of the seal on the battery connection, then put in my sim and SD card. Didn't turn on then plugged in the charger lead. It had about 55% on the charge.. I charged it to 100% then turned it on and everything has been fine. Really pleased with the phone. I'm not a heavy user on mobiles as prefer tablets for everything so use it for calls and messaging, with the odd search and weather app. Sometimes use for directions in the car but yet to see how that pans out. TBH it's been a great start, its quite big though isn't it considering its a 5" screen. Ordered case this morning. So for me personally couldn't be happier. Sounds like you have a dud and should return to Amazon, but don't let that put you off getting a replacement. Well worth the 55 quid. Will watch some footie on it in a moment using wifi to see how the picture gets on, saying that Youtube has been good. Remember though this is low end so things like full HD or super 4k not expected. Kids won't notice any difference that's for sure.

Doh! (embarrassed). Oh :poop: ! I didn't realize there was a seal over the battery contacts  no wonder it's not charging  That's the first time I ever had mobile with a seal over battery contacts  Yep it's working now, almost about to contact Amazon to return

lol.. lesson learned, when buying on Amazon, read the comments, generally you will get all the teething problems on there. BTW, I also mentioned about the seal on page 1 here, and the plonker that did the same as you and gave the phone a 1.

This from a Reddit forum as some of the warnings on here were concerning - I will avoid!
I bought an X5 Max Pro for my wife and have been very impressed with it. However, she has been having issues with full screen ads popping up while she's using it - I initially blamed her for downloading dodgy apps but it appears there's spyware/adware baked into the official ROM.
Specifically the adware appears to be "com.android.snap". I've disabled it for the moment via 'Apps' but I gather it restarts on reboot so I'll need to root it to get rid entirely.
Doogee A company pretending to be Doogee appears to be well aware: doogeemobile.com/doo…tml (search for 'malware' in the comments at the bottom)
Don't think I'll be using Doogee again.
EDIT: Thanks guys! Looks like this probably wasn't Doogee's fault. Seller was 'CrossTheSea' fulfilled by Amazon. I've downloaded an official Doogee ROM and will install it shortly.
EDIT2: The official ROM I've just downloaded has it in too... Malwarebytes detects it as "Android/PUP.Adware.Xinyinhe" in com.gangyun.beautysnap which is installed in /system/app
EDIT3: Eventually located the ads; they're coming from systemui.apk which is a fairly central part of the phone and very difficult to remove. This is almost certainly deliberate, and a good reason to avoid Doogee in the future. Reading around, it appears the X5 Max and X5 Max Pro at least have this problem.

I rather pay more than buy this rubbish. Also it is illegal to sell these phones in UK with spyware. If Amazon does not return, you can take them to court. Still not have learned lesson from selling Blu phones with spyware which Blu claims it has now removed from phones sold by Amazon

BTW people should read the comments on it. Couple things I found.. its hard to get the back off to put in sim and Sd cards as no real good instructions on how to, plus some numpty who gave it 1 could not get it to charge or turn on, then a few told them that there is a seal on the battery hahaha. So disregard the person who gave it a 1.
