Decent SIMO offer from BT - Obviously would suit BT BB customers more as a hefty discount + BT & Non BT customers will get a £40 Amazon Or iTunes voucher

If taking the the voucher into account BT Customers will pay £56 over 12 months = Approx £4.66pm / Non BT will pay £9.66pm

Under the T&C's no but if you happen to go through Quidco for the cashback then decide you'd prefer the Amazon vouchers then it's not really your fault if they don't have the systems or workflows in place to notice and subsequently give you both. They've possibly decided it would cost them more to implement the cross checking than just to payout both once in a while.

If signing up for multiple sims make sure to order them individually so that you can claim cashback/vouchers for each order separately.

Interestingly, if you initially sign up for the most expensive deal with the biggest cashback & voucher incentives then change the plan to Family Sim you can downgrade all the way to the cheapest and still keep the cashback/voucher.

BT are also doing a signal assist box at the moment too, so if you have crappy signal and have broadband with them they will send you one. i just ordered one today. Both times i got through go customer service in Kent.
Was impressed too, the customer service bods actually knew what they were talking about. If you are unfortunate enough to get India just redial.

Did you ask for BT mobile technical department when you got to the bt automated answer.
i asked for them and told them i was getting no signal or 1 bar if I'm lucky.
0800 800 150 is the number i used.

Yeah I got through to the mobile technical department. She knew exactly the thing I was on about and said they were out on trial and they are looking to replace those boxes with a BT WiFi calling solution very very soon. I queried her as to whether an EE booster would work and she said she's known people to have success with it.

I missed out last time, glad i got it this time. I too got told it was a trial a few months ago and that they were bringing a WiFi calling thing in the autumn. i don't know what they are on about because this routes it over wifi. They must buy a batch in every few months.

apparently it's the exactly same as the EE one too.

Has anyone actually managed to get this online? When I select the SIM and click on "buy now" it starts to load my order summary but then just takes me back to the offers page. I've tried on from my phone and from 3 different browsers on my laptop with the same result.

Not for me either, I can access the page and it says £8 - everything ok there however when I log in as a BT customer (it's for my dad) it refreshes to an £11 offer!
I also phoned the 0800 800 150 number and the bloke there said that the offer isn't on his list of available sims - he says it's £11. I was on hold whilst he said he spoke with different departments and his line manager but £11 was all he could offer.

BT seem to be a bunch of sneaky ******** and I'm now looking into changing my dads broadband away from them as they don't deserve his money!

Don't log in then, I'm with BT for broadband and SIM Only and just ordered this deal for me wife and it went through OK at £8.

It asked if I was a BT customer part way through the order and it picked up my account no. but this just confirmed my eligibility to get the discount rate :sunglasses:

I got it in the end. Like you when I logged in it showed me £11 with 2GB/month extra free but no £8 offer. I then went through the OP link and it remembered me logged in but then showed me the £8 offer and let me order it

You need BT broadband for the discount which might not be possible for you, some outer post codes of Hull are covered by BT, most are not.

There's no cheap way of doing it - you need to be a BT Broadband customer not just landline.

Putting the customer savings in perspective, it's £60 in the first year.

Their retention deals in the second year will save you more compared to your first year payments

Best BT Broadband I've seen recently: £24.99 pm 12 months for BT Infinity upto 38mbps. £50 setup fee. Comes with calls I presume and also BT Sport.

Cashback may also be applicable.

I pay £23 for TalkTalk now and I'm tempted as will get BT Sport and a better Router.

Avoid BT at all costs, dire customer service which is completely outsourced to India and awful the slightest issue becomes a multiple phone call asault on the senses!

Deal from all providers be it Talk Talk, Plusnet, Sky, Virgin....etc result in the same negative comments with a smattering of positive reviews. Customer service, throttling, speeds, iffy routers, poor wifi........That should tell you something!

Not true - they may have outsourced some of it but not all. I took out a set of family sim last week and had to phone their customer services a number of times - on every occasion I spoke to someone with a regional uk accent. Btw while on one occasion I had to wait quite a while for my call to go through (and I was bounced around), they were extremely helpful and knowledgeable.

still outsourced and even worse from past experience wait an eternity then discuss the problem half of which is lost in translation. People will still use them but I am not alone in getting a dire service from BT so just giving people a heads up from someone who had a complete nightmare with them. Take it or leave :smile:

BT offer some great deals every so often. My family all have a BT sim and, as we have BT BB, I pay around £25 for 3 sims with 6gb of data. Never had a problem with BT tbh and always managed to get the Amazon voucher deal within 3 weeks of a new sim arriving. Good spot OP.

I got the voucher and Quidco has tracked. Not gone to payable yet, but the £50 vouchers (from last time this deal was on) have arrived. Also, remember that you only get the voucher / quidco with single sims, DONT add a second family sim (same £8 a month), just open a second account.

You can get a 12 month Sim Only contract with Three at the moment - unlimited texts, unlimited minutes and 4gb of data for £9.

You are also getting £40 cashback on that tariff with both Quidco and TCB.
