Check the depth of your kit, plus the cable connectors coming out of the back, surprisingly not deep enough for most hi fi kit. Look great in pics, but never show the reality of trying to get your cables neat. I know, I have one.

i have this (or maybe very similar sold by a different company) and it looks good. modern & stylish. Holds my Sky & xbox very neatly. I just have to sort the wires out so they are neatly cabled.

Fair point.
The Ikea one is made out of 50mm thick MDF right? Of course there's space to conceal the mounting hardware inside the shelves.
This one appears to be made out of 5mm tempered glass so would the support bracket be concealed? Inside a 5mm sheet of tempered glass? I don't think that's physically possible.
Also this one is height adjustable. With the concealed shelf design you need to decide how far apart you want each shelf before drilling holes.

Floating? You've got a massive back support and you can see the under-shelf supports, so can't see where the floating term applies?
You want floating, you need the Ikea shelves where the support arms are hidden inside the shelves.
