We have 4 of these in our shed for a few years for tools etc etc. Seem fine. They seem sturdy enough for me not to have to worry about what I put on the shelves. Granted I wouldn't put a bag of cement on it! I too got them for under a tenner and they function well

I ordered the blue metal ones in the end, as height was a limiting factor.

Just thrown about 5 of these out - they don't last long. Shelfs bow after a while as they can't take much weight. I just replaced them all with one large metal one from B&Q which was about 100 quid. Bigger, more storage. Sometimes - you get what you pay for

Shouldn't this be about a tenner? Wood/metal units are 20 quid.
Admittedly these are good for a loft but not at this price
Bought this one a few weeks ago for £19.99, very sturdy and capable of holding decent weight. (1500 x 700 x 300)mm heavy duty boltless metal steel shelving shelves storage unit Industrial amazon.co.uk/dp/…Y4D

Hmm, now not sure if I want these or the ones I'd originally listed. Mine are taller but these are stronger.... Mine are galvanised so shouldn't rust, but not sure how much of an issue that will be.

Bought this unit from homebase last week, sturdy enough and about the same price as the Argos one - homebase.co.uk/ket…942

I brought these and a four shelf unit on a deal a few months back. The five shelf unit bowed with little weight, nowhere near the 25kg its rated to take. Haven't bother putting the other one up. I wouldn't recommend except maybe holding your Christmas decs in the loft.

Been using the ikea ones very sturdy , B&Q have them for a tenner too rated for 25Kg
Also bought mine from b&q ( £5 each) and imo still too expensive!

I got some of these at b&q. Be care cup to check the round corners because they are vulnerable not having any protection and one of mine was cracked. The top and bottom corners , so 8 altogether are most vulnerable. One up they are quite robust. I have 1 in the garage and 2 to go in the loft because they are light to move about and being plastic no rust or warping with damp if you want flood proof.

Doesn't sound cheap to me, although currently can't see cheaper, but not really a bargain unless what you need right now. I'd expect to get for about £10, for these narrow shelves, the wider ones are slightly more although at the moment the wide ones seem to be £24 full price toolstation.com/sho…174

This isn’t a deal. I picked one of these exact units up from Argos for 15.99 just 10 days ago.
The actual product is fine for the price. If I had anything really heavy on them I’d fix the, to the wall with the bracket provide

Very flimsy. Can't be moved without them coming apart. Not very study plastic.
