TV Player Plus is an Internet TV streaming service which gives you access to premium channels such as MTV, Comedy Central, History, Discovery and many more. You can even watch shows from these channels on demand. You can watch on the go on your mobile, tablet or laptop. You can also watch it on your TV if you have a Panasonic Viera Smart TV or on any TV by downloading the TV player app on a Amazon fire stick.
It's saved me ££ on a Sky or Virgin Media TV package.

Two devices.
Your TVPlayer account can have up to a maximum of 5 devices registered to it.
2 of this devices can play back the PLUS (Paid streams) concurrently.
The remaining devices can play out Free channels streams whilst 2 devices at that time are playing Plus streams concurrently.

Works great for me, all channels work, no lag. Can always try a free trial to check buffering speeds if you're not sure how your Internet will cope. It's been an absolute god send for us as we don't have a TV aerial.

I've recently spent a considerable amount of time testing IPTV and have come to this conclusion..if you like FHD quality save yourself time and don't bother!.
Best I could find was gearstv with Mayfair guide on kodi.. $15 mth with over 400 uk and us channels mostly "1080p" - yes they are FHD however they are very compressed 1080 so very blocky... If you don't mind spending $15 mth on a poor quality stream go for it.. I did however enjoy the constant US commercials for pharmaceuticals..!! and in terms of channels UK has certainly now caught up with US so you'll get similar channels discovery,fx, bravo, animal planet etc
IPTV imho unless you have very poor eyesight has a long way to go to reach SkyHD quality..

I'm glad you caught the mods in a good mood because when I tried to post a deal for TV Player a few weeks ago it got deleted, i was told the company is not allowed on HUKD and my account was flagged so all future submissions must manually get allowed by mods. Really appreciated that. Maybe the mods have since toned down the aggression.

You can try the free basic to test, so best do that before paying!

It has a lot of problems. Have to log in all the time. Streams get into a weird "skipping record" effect where you keep seeing the same few minutes. Sometimes the streams are dead. Support sucks, and never actually fixes anything you raise.
That said, it's cheap and useful for a freeview replacement.

Any opinions, people? Is it a direct replacement for a tv tuner card on a PC?

Honestly, we used to subscribe and cancelled. Terrible buffering even on 50mb+ fibre. Half the time channels wouldn't load, channel 4, more 7 4 seven were worst. Not everything is able to be watched, a programme may be on but a warning will come up saying for some reason this programme cannot be broadcast, possibly due to some Copyright rules.
They ended up giving us 4 months offer and we paid for only 1 of those months. We are into 2nd month to try again and its just as bad, app been overhauled as well and more bugs. You are meant to be watching slight delayed live TV yet other night OH wanted to watch Grand designs and instead no amount of uninstall and reinstalling would play it, played same 2 minutes before just freezing constantly for the entire 1 hour programme was on.
That's using Xbox App and App on Shield TV/ Tablet casting.
Might just be us, but play reviews somewhat mirror our issues
