I have 2 of these from Sainsburys (both at £15, but months apart). The ones Sainburys are selling are the V2 model, the ones on eBay are often the V1.1 model. According to TP-Link there is a V4 model, but whether it has ever been seen in the UK is another matter. These WiFi extenders work, they work well (once setup) and the mains pass-through is useful. That is not to say setup is always as easy as it might be. The WPS setup is supposed to be easy, but can depend on your other network equipment. Accessing the device via the rj45 port (for a full setup, most parameters can be altered) can be somewhat frustrating. The device has an Auto (default) setting for DHCP. This is necessary, if you try to rj45 connect directly to a PC (DCHP ON). You can also rj45 connect via your LAN (DCHP OFF). However, doing this sort of thing may on occasion, prove a bit of a head-banger (use the reset and try again). This extender can also be configured as a WiFi HotSpot. To date, both mine have been reliable. All things considered, at £15 this is a good buy.

"WiFi range extender".....the clue is in the name. I have one of these and it is great for extending the range of my wifi  . Always found TP Link gear to be well worth the money.

Yes these are called Wifi extenders but do not extend the wifi very far and only re-transmit the signal by 50%.
