In my recent search for a new TV that seemed to be one of the best deals I saw for this screen size. Combined with 5 years warranty by JL it might be interesting offer for somebody.

Was interested in this when I saw it yesterday, but on checking reviews saw that it was not compatible with SkyQ box. Can anyone confirm.
Yes but there not using LG screens
According to trusted reviews they are using LG screens, and other sites say they are 2016 screens, so older tech.

This TV looks very low. It seems like my soundboard would get in the way of the screen. Can someone confirm?

Maybe mount it on the wall then you can put a soundbar wherever you like.

Never drill holes in your wall for a Vestel.

the tv is 665mm high with stand or 650mm without stand . so you have just 15mm clearance

Are these proper Toshiba-made Tvs, or Vestel/Made in Turkey?

This is pretty much the same TV with a different badge, £100 less;
No it's not. The specs are not the same - e.g Bush only has 2 HDMIs where as this one has 4. Even the weight is not the same, the Toshiba is almost 4 kgs more!

I did say 'pretty much', maybe the Toshiba has more ballast in the stand to add weight.
Just set this model up for my ex last week and the picture quality was stunning and blows my Samsung that was twice the price out the water.i paid £429 at John Lewis so it's gone up £20 but still a BARGAIN in my opinion

This is a Vestel or UMC TV, ridiculous price for it.

Toshiba haven't had any involvement in the design or build of this TV though if you must have a Vestel then get it with a five year warranty as you're likely to need it.

What TV for a similar price range would you recommend ? I always find it interesting when people complain, saying this or no HDR but I wish alternatives would be given, not everyone can afford a 10 bit fancy HDR screen.

In the budget price range the only choice is Hisense really, though I think you'd pick up an LG for not much more.

A few names sell really well on HUKD and John Lewis is one of them. What makes it a deal?

Both Vestel products, neither are worth £449.
