You know you can force stop an app?. I only have to look at the extras advert once a day............

Ok so this is hated on a lot. However, you need to watch one advert per day for about 26 days out of a month. There is also an option to pause the ads for two hours. Without that I think yes its requires EXTREME patience.

Good deal. And we both have Extras and it's no problem at all. Just get used to it. Saving us £6 per month between us so not to be sniffed at!

Wow! Tesco must have come down really hard on Capita o2's £1.2 billion 10 year customer care subcontractor.
Tesco mobile has awful 4G in most small towns better to stick with plusnet deal unlimited mins and txts 5GB 4G data for £10 a month
Don't forget you also get £2 smart cap, UK Call centres and fast speeds unlike tesco

Really? Most? Well out here in the sticks we must be in a minority then because I can get over 30 meg on 4G in a little town outside Bath. In fact it is the best signal I have had as far as I can remember, Three was terrible, Vodafone was also terrible.

Tesco also provides smart cap. Plusnet does not aIlow international roaming in some countries and is a pain. I have been using Tesco mobile for more than 4 years and having been around the country, it has been the most reliable provider.

You're telling me, went out of the cities this weekend for a little break on the Scottish coast and while my better half on Three was getting reasonable 4G connections, I was getting 'Emergency Calls Only' and couldn't even send text messages at the best of times!
Thing is, I've been on Tesco for a good few years now and their customer service has been great, always been willing to change my plans when I came across better deals and my needs changed, and in cities I get good 4G coverage. The only reason I'm think of leaving is because of what I saw this weekend when I couldn't even get the barest of signals in small towns.

Do whatever you want but avoid Three like plague. Worst customer service. I had no signal for 2 years in West flipping London and still they would not let me come out of the contract at the end of it. Worst people to do business with. I am on O2 now, best network ever and Tesco use O2. My old O2 contract is finishing on this 10th. I might switch over to this one to get the same level of coverage for the fraction of price.

o2 4G is on 800mhz which is the best frequency for distance from the base station/s and indoor coverage but in small towns and larger EE has 1800 & 2600mhz to bolster coverage in built up areas - signal is completely dependent on what base stations exist.
Frankly for me the ONLY 4G indoors I get is Three, 2/3 bars on a iPhone 6S, 800 and 180mhz.

I moved to Tesco from virgin mobile a few years ago. I've move from network to network for best deals or whatever, but have to say Tesco for me have been the best out of the lot. No real issues with network coverage, hassle free capping of the account so no nasty surprises, customer service the best I've come across for a mobile provider. My sim only contract is similar to this but I only get 750 mins for the same price with about 3 months to run on the contract. Wonder if they will up my minutes if i call them?

Or, 100GB for £25/month, which is effectively unlimited for most people.
