I have the copper coloured one of these, and it's great. Looks good, powerful, and pretty quiet in my opinion. Used on my desk, there's no reason to put it on any higher than the lowest setting. I'd definitely get it for £12.50.

I've got the pedestal fan from tesco and beware these are really loud. Look great though and gives a good breeze even on low. The plastic ones are quieter than these metal blade ones.

That's nothing. People were amazed when I told them I had a 12 inch pianist. They wouldn't believe me until I pulled him out. He did an amazing rhapsody in blue.
