I've used these for a while myself, and find them comfortable with good sound.

So the mic is really not good on this? Some other reviews say it's a let down too. It looks like if you want good mic quality, 7.1 surround and a comfortable headset they are mostly £65+, although this looks great for the price...

Apparently this does not support surround sound or something.. so may not be good for games like PUBG.

Great headset, the original V2's were better sounding imo. But these are way better that similar priced turtle beach products. The fit is very nice and light.

I still have some V2's as well, now I want to compare them for sound quality! I did like the cable better on the V2, because it came with a plug-in extension which I used to reach my TV.

For me the V2's just had amazing separation for being a fairly cheap and light headset, and they had excellent punch in the low end. It was just a great allrounder. The mic was the only let down, but got the job done. The 200's unfortunately improve not alot, the sound is great, mic still poor, but for this price it's excellent.

Caved and bought one. Heat added. The official Msoft chat headset cost me 20 quid so this will hopefully be at least slightly better.
