Ha ha. I am in the trade and have had the DeWalt 10.8v kit for years that cost me over double this. I use it all the time and believe me it's more than powerful enough, far better than some 14.4v and even 18v tools I have used. Simply stating that because it's 10.8v it's not powerful shows your lack of knowledge on the subject

You really don't know your tools do you.
The new 10.8v kit from all manufacturers is now really gaining in popularity. It is more powerful than most of the old 14.4v ranges, and pretty much on a par with the old 18v range.
Marry that up with the fact that it is so much lighter, and any tradesman that spends a lot of time with one of these in his hands is going to find it much more comfortable, and far less tiring.

@angie14 - did you manage to get the warranty registered on the website? It wouldn't accept the SKU on the box for me.
In both cases you will be presented with 2 options..... Click the option with GB
The process will ask you for the manufacturing date!
This can be found stamped on the actual body of both the drill & the impact driver (See pic)

i just used the nearest sku number and used the contact us form to send a message checking that warranty all registered ok....in the contact us message i also quoted the sku number on the outer cardboard box

As has previously mentioned! The driver/drill/charger/instructions & accessories are all inside the bag.
Sounds to me like yours is a customer return that hasn't had the bag sent back.
As Argos now seem to be out of stock nationwide,I would contact Stanley directly & explain your problem bud.

Thanks for info and pictures. Box looked sealed strangely and didn't look particularly like there should have been a bag. Argos tried Stanley this afternoon for me but they carry spares for the tools and no bags. They could offer me max 10% off. Bag might be worth a bit more, but the tools are still great. I'll try customer services for a better offer - there doesn't seem to be any stock now. So no bag for me...

I have the Milwaukee 10.8v 4Ah brushless drill driver and it has the same torque as some 18v kit. The torque varies with the battery size, the 4Ah having more than the 2Ah.

Before people moan about brushed vs brushless, the motor will not be the first thing to go on a drill...it's pretty irrelevant outside of professional cases.

I've had the Bosch 10.8V Driver for years, 8 or 9. Used daily. The brushes are worn down now, and it's on it's last legs. If I didn't also have the matching impact driver and drill, plus 3 or 4 spare batteries, I'd be buying this as a replacement. On a side note, Bosch are now calling their 10.8V range, 12V. All parts are still compatible, but 10.8V is the average voltage, whereas 12V is the maximum voltage. Something to do with the American market.

Recently returned from Argos with my reservation & have to say I am super impressed with the feel & quality of this twin pack.
Never even entertained Stanley Fatmax stuff on the past, but will definitely consider them for future purchases!
I am so pleased with these I am just about to go stick my 2 week old Einhell 18v brushless twin pack on eBay as I find them far too heavy for me especially with the 4.0ah battery fitted.
This little 10.8v set will suit me much better.

The tool bag is in a small box, twice the width of a cereal box to explain it without measuring it. If you struggle you could always bin the box and just throw the bag over your shoulder as it does have a strap. Hope that helps.

Will the impact gun remove wheel bolts over zealously tightened by my local tyre fitter or will I still have to use my special tool which lifts the car rear-end off the ground - always a source of amusement to passers by, when I get my 5 foot 'King Dick' shaft to remove the n/s front wheel, and the back end cocks up

Used a Fatmax impact screwdriver to screw a very large wooden patio together, really good stuff, would recommend it.

Register, then register both the drill & the impact driver separately.
USE the sku numbers that can be found on the bottom right corner of the front page of each of the two manuals. (See pic)
The sku numbers are:

Impact Driver - FMC040
