Needed a good pir for my recent led lights from Screwfix. This is usually around the ten quid mark. Gets good reviews,

That' the problem with LED spotlights they are not able to link other non pir's like you can with halogen type, this stand alone pir solves that.

Having said that, I took what seems like a stand alone pir sensor off an old halogen light and wired it upto my new led flashlight. Doesn't want to work, too dim when it's on, can barely notice that it's on at all.

Is it difficult to link a standalone PIR to those screwfix LEDs?
