"The pyrolytic self-cleaning feature turns all food residue to ash when heated to a very high temperature, leaving the walls of the oven perfectly clean. The only task left is to sweep away the remaining ash, without the need for continuous scrubbing or harsh chemicals"
How well does this pyrolytic feature work?

Well on the walls - not at all well on the shelves and racks, as they have to be removed (if anything like mine).

A bit like a crematoria then. Had a Smeg hob in last house it had six knobs in that you had full control of central hob burner and main wok burner was made of phosphor bronze, lovely when polished. When doing next kitchen try and get same model, love for Smeg rant over.
Back to oven, good price best price elsewhere is around £600 and except for one review 5 star.
